About a week ago, we announced that Hasbro is looking towards expanding the Transformers Evergreen line into the Generations mainline with Authentics figures featuring greater articulation and detailing beyond a budget market line.
It just so happens that reputed Weibo user TF-Factory seems to be providing evidence to exactly that. Though the content of the packaging are edited out, this new reveal seems to feature Evergreen Autobot Bumblebee for what looks as though Deluxe and Voyager iterations.
It’s difficult to tell exactly what these are for, but the packaging is vastly different from Authentics Bravo Assortment and the blister carded 7 inch Project Storm Assortment.
We are now looking forward to see this latest development at the upcoming New York Toy Fair 2018.
You can check out the images, after the jump.

What is happening to this line?
RodimusSupreme
It saddens me that everyone in that thread are just dismissing the idea that these could be renders for eventual toy designs, specifically non-kidified designs. PLEASE LET THESE BE RENDERS FOR THE GENERATIONS EVERGREEN DESIGNS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh still nothing about this line
BombSquad
These could have just been packaging concepts for Cyberverse.

I’ve been pondering over this leak all damn year without any answers.

What in the heck even happened to this potential line? It was leaked and then nothing. Like, I know (unfortunately) that the reason is that it got cancelled or wasn't ever happening in the first place, but the guy took the time to purple out the windows on the boxes. I feel like there'd be no reason for him/her to do that if there wasn't anything inside those boxes. Perhaps the line got pushed out like Studio Series did (which also would've been totally unknown about if it wasn't for that giant leak, which also came after the original release dates of the first couple waves of Studio Series figures). Anyone happen to know anything about this?
(Yes, I know, digging up a dead thread for a reason other than having news. I don't care.)

im using bludgeon as a placeholder for an actual version, movie was a bit too overcomplicated for my tastes. feels good in hand, simple enough transformation and it looks like the character. my only issues are the size (would like a large deluxe/small voyager)and the altmode is a bit too stylised

RiD Stormshot is a bad example because it's a figure that doesn't fit with the rest NuRiD line. Too blocky and the face has nose. Given how the character never was present in NuRiD show… Probably wasn't even designed for the line.
It still doesn't fit with Generations very well (certainly not "easily") because of the low amount of the sculpted detailing even if compared to CW bots. Makes the figure look like Legends oversized to Deluxe. Or like if it was coming from a different manufacturer.

Rid stormshot fits into a chug line pretty easily so no, not all rid figures have this odd aesthetic with their heads
Haywired
Here's hoping we'll see those designs for Hot Rod and Soundwave realised as transforming figures.
BTW… At this point there's no way to tell what's exactly supposed to be CHUG aesthetics because Hasbro lumped pretty much everything but the Bayverse there. BW… BM… Armada, WFC, FoC. Then you have bots like T30 Deluxe Bee/Goldbug/Nightbeat who have only partially geewunised Bayverse-style Bumblebee body type. Chromia is TFP with only G1 head and good riddance to tell what kind of aesthetics Windblade is. And of course IDW MTME designs.
But no NuRID figure really fits the Generations line anyway as NuRiDs all have very specific headsculpts.
To sell toys.
To kids who aren't hardcore TF fans knowing and caring about the background grunts.

Huh. Imagine that. Hasbro trying another neo-g1 line.

And I'm being attacked WHY exactly?

Please don't tease me like that.
I consider it actual criminal activity that there is no plastic representation of her at all.

Ok, I will keep calling RID overpriced. Given the fact that those member's appear to have the expectations of a smart consumer who doesn't see the value in toys with such cheaper quality than their Generations counterparts but somehow still cost the same, I don't think it's so out of line.

I acatually really really do want a BOTANICA, although I hate her whole plant thing, I would like to have her as she was a part of the cartoon and I am a cartoon character collector when it comes to Transformers, even going as far as buying the Battle Beast that showed up in the headmasters cartoon
I doubt it will ever happen but I really really would like a deluxe of even smaller toy of her and nightscream for that matter
BigRed
But you're wrong. Objectively. 2 dollars makes all the difference when it comes to parts count, just look at how Tiny Turbo Charges differ from Titan Masters thanks to those 2 measly dollars. They go from 1-step 2-to-3 piece figures to much meatier toys.
Go ahead and keep calling it overpriced, wont change the fact that the member's expectations for the price point were out of line, and as usual, he was embarassingly whiny about it online, as Yuajta tends to be.
