Blue Sky Studios (not to be confused with the team developing Ice Age movies) has acquired Hasbro License to produce Gift And Stationary items based on the Transformers property. Their official website has been updated with the announcement.
“We are excited to add Transformers to our product lineup for 2018. We will be transforming the Stationery industry as well as bringing some exciting Gadgets that will transform your life.
Keep your eyes open at the Spring Fair where you will be able to see our Gadgets in disguise and core stationery lines for 2018. Not only will we have the new Transformers movie we will also be producing new Bumble lines to go with the 2018 film out in June.
We are put everything into bringing you innovative gadgets and stationery for Transformers as such we know that they will fly off the shelves.”
We do believe that the June 2018 date for Bumblebee: The Movie is a mistake since the movie was pushed to December this year. Nevertheless, the company will be at Booth 5H71 on 4th of February at Spring Fair UK 2018. If nothing comes out of UK and Nuremberg Toy Fairs this year, Spring Fair seems to be the next opportunity to check out licensed merchandise from Bumblebee: The Movie, prior to New York Toy Fair 2018. You can apply for a free ticket, right here.
Stick with TFW2005 for the best Toy Fair Season coverage.
