Back in last October, you may remember that we brought you a news regarding a brand new initiative by Hasbro. Titled as ‘Transformers: Autobot Alliance‘, the project is an interactive exhibition in China. The experience is now open to the public following a soft launch back in December.
Licensing.biz, has the scoop:
Hasbro has launched the first Transformers Autobot Alliance interactive exhibition in Chong Qing’s Shin Kong Place in China. The exhibition was opened with a soft launch on December, 30th 2017 and was officially launche earlier this week on January 11th, 2018. The Transformers Autobot Alliance exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Hasbro and Cityneon Holdings Limited, a global innovator in exhibitions.
The initiative finds Transformers at the center of a walk-through attraction featuring familiar characters from the franchise such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Windblade.
It is the first of its kind to showcase the robots as well as special effects, reflex tests, virtual reality, motion sensing and other features surrounding the brand. Fans even get the chance to learn the Transformers language and decode missions throughout the exhibit.

i hope somebody in china can film the exhibit or post some photos.

…………..So is Hasbro making a quality Voyager class Generation's Ironhide or not?!
FYI: Collecting is the only reason I'm interested since TF comics are borderline mediocre these days and the Cartoons and Movies are crap!

That exhibit kind of sucked. It was just very… simple, small, and lacking interactive anything (other than some RID Warrior Steeljaw's as representative of the line, which was a complete error when you consider how complex that toy was, comparatively – the majority of visitors couldn't figure it out! Nice job… clearly, they grabbed the only toy they could find locally…).
The difference here is that they actually spent money on the Chinese exhibit, rather than relying on loans from TFCC Pete!
I feel like the majority of you missed the entire point (and didn't bother reading).
You SHOULD care about a cool exhibit like this. For multiple reasons! For one, interactive TF stuff is fun! Two? It engages regular Joe's who don't already buy the stuff, thereby possibly increasing overall brand interest. Three, Hasbro spending money on the franchise shows faith and an interest in innovation (money and innovation being the only chance of ANY brand not stagnating into decline). In the USA, Hasbro just doesn't bother. At. All.
It's like you guys get shown a fancy Hilton resort and you're all, "Meh. I stay at Super8. Do they have a new Ironhide?"
konrathink
Please just make a decent Ironhide figure.
Chainlink
Yeah, the only thing here that interests me is that Ironhide.
I'd love a good CHUG Ironhide.
YoungPrime
Don't really care about this…
But a G1 Ironhide that's the same height as Classic OP with a Ratchet Retool (both having good quality) would be nice.
Antz
I still just want to know what Ironhide figure that is. The face is kind of iffy but overall I'd love to see a more G1 Ironhide at some point.
Esquilax79
I hope it comes here. I want to discover, learn, and graduate. I went with a friend with kids to the Indianapolis Children's Museum when they had the Transformers exhibit a few years ago
