And thanks to Hobbymizer Studio On Facebook we have HD shots of yesterday Hong Kong Toys And Games Fair 2018 HD Shots where the star was undoubtedly was MPM-06 Ironhide.
We have clear and nice shots of the presentation of the new Autobot Weapon specialist Masterpiece figure. Some of the shots give us a clear look at the back of the toy and the way it manages the kibble. Of course, we have close-ups of the figure in both modes and standing next to his partner MPM-03 Bumblebee.
As an extra bonus, we have extra images of the previously announced MPM-05 Barricade.
We have mirrored all images for your viewing pleasure on this news post. You can check out some highlights after the jump and then join to the discussion at the 2005 Boards for the full gallery.

Whats wrong with his mouth?

Barricade is almost perfect. It’s just missing a 643 on the front of the vehicle. Left bumper side

(I know what 4Chan is, I'll just never pass up an opportunity to use this gif)

Ironhide's final design doesn't actually differ too much from his concept art, at least not from any that I've seen, but the design team had alot less time to work on his figure as he wasn't a part of the original cast. Arcee was supposed to be the 5th Autobot and was included in the original script drafts and concept art, but was removed prior to the script being finalized due to the writers not wanting to have to explain robot gender on-screen, as well as Bay thinking she was too small. HasTak however began working on the figures before this happened, hence why her deluxe figure is actually pretty close to the concept art, and why she appears so prominently in the IDW tie in comics (Ironhide is nowhere to be seen at all in IDW Movie Prequel IIRC, but Arcee has a pretty notable part set on Cybertron with Bumblebee.
Although I'm ultimately glad we got Ironhide in TF1, it's a shame we never got to see Arcee's original design on screen as it's actually one of my favourites from across the movies, and is certainly better than the ROTF design, which ironically appears to be just as small and with no gender clarification anyway… and two ugly step-sisters to boot.

That's probably the most accurate description of Movie Ironhide I've ever heard!
Shin Densetsu
Serious question, are you looking at MPM Ironhide from far away? Otherwise you are generalizing far too much. MPM06 Ironhide is far more accurate to the actual movie model than 2007 Voyager Ironhide. It even has the asymmetric eyes which I didn't even realize the movie model had.
The 2007 movie toys started development in late 2004 or 2005(movie was originally supposed to be out November 2006), well ahead of the 2007 movie and all Hasbro had access to was concept art which wasn't even finalized. Ironhide's movie design was changed substantially from the concept art by the final cut.
I get that some of you prefer the proportions of the older voyager and leader Ironhides. However, as proportionate as they are compared to MPM06 Ironhide, they are not as accurate to the actual cg model as MPM06 Ironhide. The closest one prior to MPM06 was the HFTD deluxe. Movie Ironhide did not have the proportions of a humanoid as much as Prime and Bumblebee. He looked more like a bulldog standing up with bulldozers for legs and side mounted tanks for arms.
Fallout
that's pretty fucked up. barricade isn't nearly as much of a dickhead as okie cops are.

Who is this mysterious (and presumably handsome looking) "4chan?" Does he have a favorite body pillow?

Mmm

We just gonna ignore that Barricade's plate is the Oklahoma plate? That's just about the best thing on a figure in this line so far. God I fucking love this line.

Ironhide is "eh." Never too into him. Didn't really have the same "love at first sight" appeal that fuckin' Barricade has. That is a MUST HAVE for me. While I would've loved to have Frenzy….there's just not enough mace weapons in transformers. Boring ol' swords, axes, and hammers. I'm tired of that shit. Barry's mace is badass!
Wh33ls
Yeah, I hate the weapon. If I had the choice of either the weapon or Frenzy, it's Frenzy hands down 100%.

Maybe BaldGermanGuy IS 4Chan.
Oh my…
Matt TooFast4U
IF they were even there, and I personally don't consider "He tell me" or 4chan a reputable source of information.
Still, we got a look at Ironhide and that's more than satisfying enough while we wait for the next big toy fair event where Predaking will almost definitely rear his magnificent head.
Unless that bald German guy also raises his.
Mabus
Without wanting to sound like a hater, they look as good and accurate as the original movie toy line did which went for far less money. No doubt they will have extra details and features but still, the first movie toys had a great ability to look like the respective character in both modes
Shmoptimus Prime
God dammit I really want Ironhide. Like, NOW. Sucks we have to wait for the fall! Especially since distribution has gotten worse and worse over the years, most of us will probably end up paying more online somewhere.
PS: Barricade's spike thingy looks so cheap in these photos, like it'll snap the first second. I probably won't even take it out of the box if I get him. Always thought it was way overdone and not a very thought-out weapon.
Bumblethumper
I like most things, but that's a good plan!
Bumblethumper
… so it's not a ten year old happy meal toy like I initially thought.
Thanks for the tip!

Simplest explanation is that the arms are mistransformed. Someone else pointed out in the other IH reveal thread that there are several bits that looked wrong where the parts should've locked and allowed clearance for the back pieces to be moved into a different position.

Of the movie bots, Ironhide and Ratchet are two of my favorite designs (really think movie 1 nailed the autobots all pretty well). Though a little stubby, this looks fantastic (IMO), I hate to say this, cause I don't really do KOs, but I may double dip if I can get a KO version cheap, or better yet a legit version on sale.
