Well, Defensor did mess up a wall and Getway did by proxy shoot, by ordering others to shoot. Too bad this issue won't with Swerve and Anode blowing each other with comically sized bombs.

Milne said (in another thread) that he gets a brief description of what's going on in the issue (in this case, he was told "Getaway vs Defensor") and then just draws what might be close to the theme. Also mentioned that the book's contents change a lot between solicit to release, IIRC. So I'll assume this is just a fun cover and not at all represtnative of something actually happening.
Too bad it didn't show up in the book because it definitely is an awesome cover.

What's the betting that this never happens in the actual story? This sure didn't…

I mean I hate Anode as much as the next guy but I'm gonna be honest. I don't dislike the concept of a cabin fever episode.
They've been through a lot recently in universe and being on a small cramped ship is going to make tensions rise.
It's just a shame it's taking place after the mutineer trilogy
It feels like you're wasting time.
I hope it's at least funny….probably not but eh who knows.
Excluding Anode, I am glad to see the rest of the Rod Squad back, after their absence over a few months. Roberts needs to stop making multi-parter stories.

It's possible others stayed behind, but Tailgate was the only one it explicitly showed not going with them. Given that I don't think they'll be back to Necroworld for quite a while, it would be strange if Roberts just wrote out so many significant characters without drawing attention to it. I doubt anyone else stayed behind, but I guess we'll find out soon.

Not even Rung? And Rewind and Chromedome? I didn't see any of them on the ship. Or I probably have to re-read that issue again.
CleverNamePendingatron
No, Tailgate was the only member of the main cast to stay behind (Primus rest his spark).
SparkPlug24
But but but… they left Swerve behind on Necroworld, didn't they?

And it showed the role that she’s supposed to play in the story.

It's literally a human in f*king armor. Also, yay, an entire issue of sassy bot one and sassy bot two.

Wonder if seeing Anode and Lug done with Alex's pencils will change what we think of them
…
Hahahaha

I mean I'm not the only one who sees it, am I?
Heliblade
So which one is Bugs Bunny and which one is Daffy Duck?
Black Convoy
Hey, it's true!
Hyoumaru
Swerve is a tiny guy, his establishing shot with Red Alert cemented this.
dragon
and people complain about child like humor in movies look at cover is more child humor than anything

I’ve got to admit, that previous Anode focussed story redeemed her a little in my eyes, by giving her a little more character development than the stock plucky female she was up until then. I still don’t really like her that much, but I can tolerate her now.
