They greenlit it they may have said who to put in it, but that'd be about it.

They're expanding on the religion that the transformers practice in some form or another. They basically admit that Optimus loves the feeling of war and battle and Megatron is exploring some sort of religious thing and also questioning himself in some way. They explained there was a form of peace that occured which explained why fortress maximus was dorment and why he didn't want to reactivate when emisarry tried. Then there's this thing with Perceptor and him supposedly carrying the matrix for whatever reason. In my opinion they're expanding on these and other things that I've mentioned in the previous post, including of a possible dark Rodimus or Unicronous. Regardless of what it seems, the planet is not as empty as it seems most likely. They're just not showing other transformers there, maybe due to budget reasons or maybe just because, who knows, I don't really care. I'm interested in what happens next and eager to watch the next episode. You may not be, that's fine.

while I don't hate this show…it seems rather pointless and lacks any real plot. The dialogue is pretty much trash and the action….oh wait…there is no action. This could be like a million times better.

The full Combiner Wars series is available as an extra on the Target Exclusive DVD for Transformers: The Last Knight.

Million times said, to short. I like it. I would like to buy both series’s. After all it could fit on a dvd very fast.

Expanding on what? Metroplex was just laying underground and didn't move until the end of Combiner Wars.
He has said almost nothing in Titans Returns at all.
Trypticon was just sitting around until Starscream possesed him.
Fortress Maximus was just sitting by himself, deactivated until Windblade and Emissary turned him on.
We have seen Trypticon and Metroplex bump into each other and that's it.
There has been ZERO character development.
What different aspects of social workings within Cybertron are being explored?
The planet is empty!
I have a feeling Hasbro was involved at some level.

I don't hate these, it's just a pretty big letdown after they advertised CW as a "series for adult fans". Nevertheless, I look forward to these every week as well. I even got the Target version of TLK so I could have a physical copy of CW, and I hope TR is included free when the BB movie gets a physical release.

=/ It's sad that most people don't like it. I always look forward every tuesday to watching a new episode. It's interesting to me of what they're doing, expanding on different things regarding city-formers. Expanding on what I think seems to be some form of dark spark or matrix regarding unicron, expanding on different aspects of social things within the workings of cybertron. Tbh, this is the best cartoon I've seen to date, it's much more serious and gritty than any of the cartoons I've seen on tv. It has me captivated and thirsty for more, especially now that fortress maximus has shown up, who was my favorite of all city transformers. Plus with this business of a possible unicronous showing up, via some kind of weird thing with overlord, I'm interested. Plus this whole matrix carrying thing with perceptor, that was unexpected but interesting. He once lead autobots on cybertron in the original comics. So I wonder if that's a hail to that or if it's just a new thing and if he'll lead or if he'll hand it over to someone else. Maybe the matrix will supposedly save hotrod from whatever overlord has done. Either way, I'm real excited for the next episode. I honestly can't wait!

They didn't…Machinima did…
Chaos Muffin
Feels like the Energon & Cybertron toons where they use the cells for puppets that take no real damage.
Atleast the bassy ambience is nice with earbuds on.

Why did Hasbro even make this?
It is absolute garbage.
Victorion just happens to teleport right in front of Trypticon who is getting blasted with a huge energy beam and she doesn't notice the giant energy beam that's literally right over her head or the giant dinosaur that's literally right behind her.
She just thought that Overlord would be right in front of wherever she teleported?
She calls out to him as if Overlord would be standing there also unconcerned about the giant energy beam and the giant dinosaur?

From a narrative view how does any of this make sense?
Emissary is the engineer for Fortress Maximus, but he needs Windblade to talk to Fortress Maximus.
They accomplish this by binding her hands and feet and then shoving energy through her?
In her mind she is calmly talking to Fort Max, but in the real world she is screaming "Help me!"
So where is her consciousness?
Then Emissary says "watch this" to Windblade as Fortress Maximus transforms but they don't show Fortress Maximus transform. What garbage!
From a marketing view how does any of this make sense?
Combiner Wars came out after the Combiner Wars toys had run their course.
Combiner Wars showed absolutely ZERO Transformers combining.
Titans Returns is out after the Titans Returns toys have run their course.
It so far contains literally ONE Titan Master who does not fulfill the role of Titan Master for his toy character.
WilyMech
And this was their better episode

Ok ok, I really hate to say negative things but I was drinking a coffee while watching this and I still almost fell asleep. It wasn't decaf!
But for real, this show could be much better. I hope they listen to the fandom and maybe rethink the pacing of the next series.

i do agree with these statement but did anyone see the g1 episode Carnage in c minor
where he was on a planet he shot Devstator to bits and he dies valently with hot spot and comes back to life. he maybe annoying but he is still a person who can kick butt. in that episode. i have really high hopes for him in this show i hope he goes out fighting or something else happens. strange thing to say and they didn;t have a toy but Perceptimus prime.

I just hope the next movie won’t take a year to come out . Hoping it’s like in 6 months max
