Thanks to Newsarama we have information of the upcoming Free Comic Book Day 2018 Transformers: Unicron The Darkest Hour #0.
The issue is listed among the May 2018 Free Comic Book Day solicitations listed by Newsarama. IDW brought Unicron at the very end of their last multi-crossover First Strike, but we are still waiting to know what the role of the chaos bringer will be on the IDW universe. We are pleased to know that fan-favorite artist Alex Milne is working on this issue. You can read the description below but be cautious since it may contain spoilers for you:
Transformers: Unicron The Darkest Hour #0
(W) John Barber (A) Alex Milne (CA) Sara Pitre-Durocher
“Not a whimper, nor a bang-the end comes with a squall of entropy shrieking from the ravenous maw of death itself. The message is clear: Unicron has arrived. The Transformers lock into a desperate bid to save Rom’s homeworld from the world-killer — but why has Unicron chosen this world on his path to Cybertron… and Earth? The biggest story in the history of Transformers starts now: for Unicron’s arrival can mean nothing less than the end of a universe”

Classic case of people butting into convo's and not knowing what's really going on….
The guy I was talking to was the one manipulating who likes what. So learn before you lecture!
AnnoyedRobot
You are the one who is wrong because it wasn't just enough to criticize the product, you tried to make someone feel like crap just for liking something.
You can have whatever problems with something you want, but the fastest way to lose respect from people is to go out of your way to attack the fans just because they liked something you didn't like. Stop it.
Shepard Prime
I'd have so much respect for IDW if they were ballsy enough to have Unicron eat Earth. Doubly so if they had him eat Earth AND Cybertron. Force them all to become nomads finding a suitable homeworld.
Starscream Gaga
Ah, yes. Lil Formers.
Windsweeper II
I agree with your analysis.
I think I liked what happened in the stories better. I didn't mind the composition.
I liked Baron Karza and the background of the Micronauts story, I liked the background of the actiin Man story. Same with MASK.
CleverNamePendingatron
Really? I felt the opposite. Revolution just had too much going on for my liking. First Strike told a much tighter story, which I found to be an improvement. Oh well, each to their own.
Windsweeper II
I quite liked some parts of revolution.
I liked the Action Man, ROM, MASK and Micronauts stories.
It's First Strike that is the worse offender to me.
I find no joy in those Revolutionaries or GI Joe centric stories.
CleverNamePendingatron
I agree. I read all of the Hasbro stuff, and quite enjoy it for the most part. However, I found Revolution to be all over the place. I understand why so many people feel the way they do about the larger Hasbro-verse if Revolution is all they have to go off, but most of it’s actually quite good in my opinion.
Bumblebee2000
As someone who actually does 'get off' on those things that I don't think were supposed to elicit a response, Revolution is still kind of dull, sinking past that by the end.
CelticMutt
By that point it'll be the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th time Marvel goes back to that well …
Danny-Boy
I love how you bring up Action Man when his role in Revolution was super minimal. And his series was actually good, unlike MASK, which got far more focus.
YoungPrime
Wrong! Try again.
AnnoyedRobot
The Hell is wrong with people liking things you don't like?
Spartan Prime
It's weird to me that when you first started responding to my post, you didn't pay any attention to what I was posting about or in response to…
YoungPrime
Sorry Dude but that sounds even worse.
Optimus4EVER
Will be picking up a copy at FCBD. Hope to be dressed as OP, g1, paper box, poster board, etc. Hope I do not get heat stroke like I almost did when I went as Captain Rex in 2016. Ah, fandom…..

Like, for example, the covers featured here (and don’t get me started on the “retailer incentive”, that each month leads to someone on the boards asking when Megatron became a Decepticon again):
(To be fair I am aware that you say “man cover”, but I would normally consider a “cover B” to have the same)
Transformers: Lost Light #10 Cover B and Reatiler Incentive Cover

Who said anything about spoiling? Covers, the main covers, are supposed to be repersenative of the issue. A snapshot of whats inside.

If nothing else, I'm looking forward to Alex Milne creating some SICK Unicron art!

Ok, let me save you some pain: unless you really get off on Action Man and the Micronauts, Revolution is a dull garbage fire.
