Thanks to Twitter users @humidai3_tubaki and @Alfes2010 we have in-hand pictures of Takara Tomy MP-12+ Masterpiece Lambor/Sideswipe for your viewing pleasure.
This reissue of MP-12 Lambor, also known as “Anime Color Lambor/Sideswipe”, has got some extra details and color changes to match how Sideswipe was shown in the cartoon and includes 3 sets of pile drivers: 2 from the original release and an additional gray set. @humidai3_tubaki shares for us a nice gallery of Lambor/Sideswipe showing packaging, bio card and the transformation sequence. @Alfes2010 took great shots of both robot and car mode (including accesories) from different angles that let us see the differences compared to the original MP-12 release.
If you didn’t get MP Sideswipe on the original release, this would be a nice chance to get it to display him next to MP Sunstreaker who is coming next on December 2017 or January 2018. You can check the images attached to this news post and then join ot the discussion at the 2005 Boards.

I'll just wait for the inevitable V2.
TT has the license.
They did the impossible to make Sunny a reality.
It is a lovely mold, highly rated almost everywhere. To some, the very best mold ever made. AJP reviews are 5 stars. Not a single complaint.
There is no way in hell Sideswipe is not getting the same treatment. MP-12 is a wonderful toy, but looks dated, specially when posed next to Mp-44 and MP-39.

Surprised to see he's sold out from AmiAmi and HLJ, he was up there for quite a while.
He's still up at Nippon Yasan

Bumping for 3.) and 4.)

More or less. They just collapse using those two joints in order to be positioned as you see. I suggest sitting with the figure in front of you while you match the photo I posted. Once you do it once or twice it'll make more sense going forward.
BWfan86
Thanks for the pics- so basically the solid red area is supposed to sit flush with the inner surface of the windshield and the middle black part?

I can help with #1:
…such a clean compression of the backpack. I love that step each and every time.
BWfan86
What do you mean exactly?
BWfan86
So, pulled this figure out today. A few things:
1.) At what angle exactly are the door windows supposed to be accordioned in on the back- this seems to be the only part that doesn’t tab in somehwere.
2.) I haven’t seen this reported anywhere, but you can store his rifle in between the back and shoulders. It rests there securely and looks like it is hanging off his back when viewed from the front.
3.) For some reason, in car mode his front wheels touch the rear part of the wheel well. He rolls, but the wheels are definitely rubbing against the well. Ia this normal?
4.) For some reason, there is a huge gap between the panel with the side mirror and the one directly below it in car mode. No amount of panel massaging fixes this…

Sounds good to me

Well I don’t expect you to have photographic recall of conversations from several months ago … it’s cool, we’re good on my end
BWfan86
You may have me confused with someone else – I don't even recognize your username…

Drunk txt, my bad … went to the Warriors game last nite and got a lil sloshy … my dude did have beef with me at some point but guess we’re cool now, sounds good to me … on a related note my $55 PotP Rodimus Prime feels like a pos and has a mis-pinned knee which exploded during transformation … womp
BWfan86
Yup – going to try and transform all the way to bot mode and back again to see if I can get things to sit more flush
Crim
You wouldn't even be able to see his post if you had blocked him. WTF is he talking about? lol XD

If everything is in place, then maybe there is a misaligned pin somewhere, or some plastic flash that's still there. I have 7 versions of this mold and they all move freely. I haven't heard of an issue like this, so it may just be a rare instance – are the arms transformed completely?
BWfan86
Yup – did that – they "clicked" and don't go up any further
Silvershot
If they're rubbing, they're probably not clicked all the way into position – they go all the way up the wheel well with a hard 'click'.
