Thanks to 2005 Boards member Russian fan for sharing the IDW Transformers: Lost Light #11 ITunes Preview in our forums.
ITunes shared this new preview and we see that treacherous Getaway seems to enjoy that all his plans are still going on well, but this 3-page preview brings us the possible return of the “Greatest Autobot Of All Time”.
Transformers: Lost Light #11
Success? The crew of the Lost Light, led by the mutinous Getaway, is now only weeks away from completing their quest. But such remarkable progress comes at a price. Just how far is their new captain prepared to go to find Cyberutopia? Unfortunately for the likes of Riptide and First Aid, it turns out the answer is “very far indeed.”
Expected Release: 29 November 2017
You can check the mirrored images after the jump. Don’t forget to grab your copy when it’s available and while you wait you can share your impressions at the 2005 Boards!

While I find it nice to (potentially) see Rung on-panel again, there's still this that bothers me:

Getaway is just a pale imitation to Prowl
hardlurk
prowl at least respects his instruments, while getaway, getaway is stirring a teflon-coated pot with a metal fork, and he thinks it's funny, the absolute bastard
Lionheart
What if the mystery psychologist is Overlord?
WilyMech
Another thing is Prowl also respects Optimus Prime and it did really hurt him when the later disagree with his methods to end game.
fishpop
Oh yeah! I didn't notice that. (Appropriately)

So am I the only one who noticed Atomizer\'s holding the Nudge Gun under the table on the second page?
Prickbot
That I can definitely agree with. Nice job differentiating between them. o:

Getaway blustering on an asteroid… SUDDENLY UNICRON OUT OF LITERALLY NOWHERE!!!
Elsewhere Megatron breaks into gut wrenching sociopathic laughter…
…So does Magnus.
Unicron: HOLY S**T WHAT DID I JUST EAT IT TASTES AWFUL!! GAH!!! *hacking and dry heaving*

To my mind, there are two major distinctions between Prowl and Getaway. One is the end-game. Prowl always has his eyes fixed on widespread peace, freedom and order (as we see in his fantasy in SotW). Whatever insane methods he employs to get there, however arrogant he gets, he's an idealist who wants to see the majority of people live to be free and happy. All his calculations are based on threat elimination and the swiftest path to victory.
Getaway's end-game hasn't yet been revealed, but it's certainly starting to look a lot more like he's in it for himself.
The other distinction is in the contempt they feel toward others. Prowl respects many of those who disagree with or dislike him. He even genuinely cares for some people. When he uses people, he does it for efficacy, usually with a cool-headed belief in the value of others' skillsets. When he plays Springer and hacks into Kup, he does so because they're valuable assets whom he feels he has a responsibility to direct, all the better to get the job done.
Getaway clearly thinks most people are beneath him. He manipulates people largely so that he can get them out of the way, or have them in hock to him, so that he gets to do what he wants. He doesn't seem to give a damn about anyone other than himself. He's dripping with contempt for characters like Tailgate, Riptide and Mainframe.
So in short: Prowl, assholing for the greater good (as he sees it); Getaway, assholing because he thinks he's better than everyone else.
ZeroiaSD
He's Getaway's old boss and sent him as a manipulative weapon.
I think he views Getaway as a gun.
YoungPrime
Getaway would just see Prowl as a Hypocrite. Especially after what Sins Of the Wrecker's revealed. But I don't think that they would kill each other if they had the same agenda. I think Prowl would have more control over Getaway since he's not as insane as Tarantulas was.
WilyMech
Prowl would never rely or hinge his plans on one device like the nudge gun nor he would come out gloat to Rodimus team like he did on the viewer. Prowl prefers to work behind the scenes than take leadership position that will put him out in public view he would in this mutiny take Ultra Magnus position and leave someone else to get all the emotional reactions while he gets him work for him. Prowl would never done what Getaway did it is too reckless. The Nudge gun was meant for a mission not take over a ship it is far more useful in the short term but not in a long term.
Rotorstorm
I don't think he did.
I think it far more likely that Getaway uses the nudge gun on him but decides that having Thunderclash with Megatron vastly improves his rate of survival and just before Rodimus etc are marooned Thunderclash is caught off guard and put into stasis lock.
Nocturne
… It's a flashback.Timeline errors aside(which Roberts admitted to and can be found in the thread) the part where he asks where to start, and Getaway replies "where else" that's when the flashback starts. The therapy session is taking place after the mutiny.
As for Froid I could be completely wrong on that guess but I trust my gut. The way the panels are set up, the wording, something is off.
Anyone else notice how Getaway's pose mirrors Megatron's from mtmte #28?

Why Froid? This scene of conspiration should be happening before the mutiny. Froid joins only slightly after Getaway has been locked up.
Prickbot
Agreed. It was really clear in the MTMTE issues following Dark Cybertron that Prowl haaated the court ruling. Wouldn't approve of the loose ends, but he'd be all for getting rid of Megatron.
He was also the person that handed Skids and Getaway the nudge guns in the first place. And, what he did to Kup…yeah, he does get in other bots' heads.
Chopperface
Haha, good old McFeely!
Optimax Prime
you, me, and everyone else who fucking hates Getaway
and relatively soon the bastard's gonna get Defensor'd
