Thanks to our 2005 Boards member griffin-of-oz for sharing images and information of New Australian The Last Knight Licenced Calendar And Mugs.
First, we have a Transformers advent calendar for Christmas available via Australian site Aldi for only 2.99 AU Dollars (2.36 US Dollars approximately). We also have some very nice The Last Knight Mugs released by Park Avenue. They come with images of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and they include some marshmallows for you. They are available at Kmart stores for 5 AU Dollars (3.94 US Dollars approximately).
Nice items for Australian collectors. You can click on the bar to see the mirrored images and then share your impressions at the 2005 Boards.

Actually, Target has TF5 Advent Calendar showing Bumblebee with Sqweeks in the background. Produced by Kinnerton. AUD$4.

I have that Top Trumps deck.
I think it might be been used on some G1-themed TF stationery a few years ago too. That had the pale red comic strip Optimus images behind the main Optimus artwork as well. I own some, but don't have any to hand at the moment to check though. I think it was one of the old Paladone TF products.
I always find it a bit freaky to see old comic artwork being used on other products decades later. I'm pretty certain the close-up Optimus artwork on the pyjamas was from a page right near the end of the Marvel G1 comic run when he had his new (I think) Actionmaster design body. He'd just jumped down from The Last Autobot's space jet mode and was all 'I'm back!' or something like that.
I wonder if those comic artists ever thought their work would still be appearing on licenced TF products so many years later.
Aimless Misfire
Are they ever going to stop shoving Bumblebee down our throats? Ever since 2007 it has been non-stop.
Purple Heart
Their too broke to take a shit.

A couple of licensed Christmas items now out in Australia.
From a tipoff on facebook, Aldi have a Transformers advent calendar for Christmas for AU$3.
And Park Avenue have released another licensed Transformers item in Australia, amongst all their various Christmas items from other Brands – another one of their coffee mugs (they've done about 6 of these over the years here), with something edible inside… this time marshmallows.

A group photo of the various Christmas/Easter mugs here in Australia…
Optimus is on all of them, and was on the same side of the handle on all except on the latest one.
Bumblebee is on all but the first one, with Megatron being on that one.
Actually, Park Avenue have been rather boring by always having Optimus and Bumblebee, and they have always seem to be the current Movie version of each.
The first one, done by Kinnnerton, was not just the biggest, but it was also the best one, for having a heat-sensitive patch between Optimus and Megatron. It was black when it was cold, but would go clear when it was hot (with a hot drink inside), revealing the two allegiance symbols. The black patch peeled off a few years afterwards, just from washing the mug after usage.

That bumblebee costume is the single greatest creation of mankind. Perfection has been reached.

That shirt with the original toys on it are awesome!
scubaboy31
Not sure but it's been around on licensed clothing a few years. I'm wearing a shirt with it on now! Also on the cover of a Top Trumps card deck.

Slightly OT but does anyone know where this image originated from and who drew it?

Oh goodie, a way to tell Australians apart when I walk down the street.

After the recent attention here of a number of licensed items being released in America, I thought I'd share a few of the ones in Australia at the moment.

Licensed Transformers items from Park Avenue Australia
Fans have been finding a number of odd, licensed, gimmicky items here in the last couple of months, from the Australian company "Park Avenue" (who have been doing licensed items for several years now, including the various Easter and Christmas items).
The first one is a set of Robots in Disguise candy heads ($5 at Kmart), which go well with the official PEZ RID dispensers released in a number of countries in the last year.
There are four different ones in each case of 12 (4x Bumblebee, 3x Optimus, 3x Underbite, 2x Grimlock)… and the instructions suggest that there are additional mystery candy heads, but none have been found yet (if they exist).
These are the same as the ones released in America last year, but looks like we only got four of the eight.
The top of the head screws off, you fill the head with candy, and when you put the top back on, it slides back to open the mouth and push out a candy on the bot's tongue.

The second one is a collection of TF5 Movie capsule figurines ($1 at Reject Shop, $2 at Kmart), just like the set of Capsules they released for the TF4 movie. Each capsule has a small plastic figurine, a sticker and a small bag of candy.
There are 10 figures and 12 stickers, randomly in the capsules, which themselves are either grey or red. (not sure if that means anything)
.
.
The other TF5 item is a projector torch ($2 at Kmart), with one of 6 projected images, and strawberry candy. The six different projected images are faces of Bumblebee & Optimus, and two different versions of the Autobot and Decepticon symbols.

If you find any other licensed Transformers items in Australia, make sure you let us know about them, so that we can spread the word to other fans.
