And we come back with a new round up of concept art images of The Last Knight and new 3D models that have surfaced. This time we have some art of The Last Knight Crashed Ship, Cybertronian Knight, Steelbane and Berserker.
As usual, thanks to all members of our 2005 Boards for sharing these great images. You can find the pictures on the next threads:
– Crashed Ship By James Paick. A nice view of one of first scenes of The Last Knight.
– Cybertronian Knight By Furio Tedeschi. An astonishing art of a knight who looks similar to Steelbane.
– Berserker And Steelbane 3D Models By Keanu Rendon. These models were the first ideas that were used later in the packaging art of the respective toys.
You can also check the mirrored images after the jump and then sound off at the 2005 Boards!

No there's not…..

We can still probably get them later. Bumblebee's movie may not have that many bots in it, so the toyline will need filler, and there's still the Tribute line and TF6 toyline too.
We still need Canopy made as well, and he's a quick remold from the same as Onslaught. Though I expect they may save Canopy for TF6 if they dive more into Izzie's backstory for some reason. Pretty sure Izzie and Sqweeks are going to return for TF6.
Brimstone was the one I was thinking of. But since this time around the movie line didn't have a scout class, it'd have to have been double packed somehow anyway into a deluxe or voyager. Either paired up with another scout class figure for the deluxe price point, or a deluxe class figure and put at the voyager price point(Dreadbot retooled from someone else maybe?).
Though a remolded Tailpipe would be interesting too, but it'd need more extensive retooling than Brimstone's head swap.

There are multiple steelbanes…

I agree, but I feel like the shoulder wheels are pretty necessary for Mohawk and Brimstone doesn't have that while Mohawk does.

Yeah, I think Brimstone's more skinny build works better than Tailpipe tho.
John TheDestroyer
There was also that HA figure from Dotm, Tailpipe. It had a less similar bike mode to Mohawk, but a more similar bot mode.

Brimstone?

There probably was a previous release of Mohawks bike mode at some point considering Hasbro released tons of figures of on-screen and off-screen characters for the first 3 movie toylines. With Onslaught and Dreadbot, they could’ve easily remolded Long Haul and Crankcase (and use Crowbars head rather than Crankcases). Honestly seems like there was a lot of missed opportunities with this line.
Deadend
I'm kind of surprised we didn't get re-molds for Mohawk and some others from the previous scout class releases. Didn't Mohawk's bike mode have a previous release in one of the scout class movie lines? All that'd need is a new head.

Even to this day, 3 months after watching the movie, I am still insanely confused as to why we got toys of Berserker, but we couldn’t get toys of Onsalught, Dreadbot or Mohawk.

Wow, just having received my Steelbane from HLJ this week, I love how much the toy looks like the design, even though they definitely did not plan him to turn into a dragon. Even the wide arm-guards that turn into claws are there!

Because the Berserker and Steelbane models are packaging art. They're not actual movie assets.

I think you could make a second movie with the amount of concept art we've gotten .

Oh god, Awesome!

This movie didn't have enough indistinguishable robot designs in monochromatic gray.
John TheDestroyer
Why was Steelbane not in the movie if he had an entire 3d model created?
Jazz210
Berserker looks like a robotic alien whereas steelbane just looks like another knight. If i didnt know steelbane was in a transformers movie i would of thought it was just another knight movie. Technically he's not even a Transformer cuz he doesn't transform in the movie
TyrantLizardKing
The more I look at Steelbane\'s design the more upset I am at how poorly his toy turned out.
