Transformers Universe: Bumblebee (working title Brighton Falls) principal photography is heading to Santa Cruz next week.
You may remember that earlier this month, we posted a news regarding a casting call to be in the movie as extras. All positions are now filled and the residents are more than happy to be a part of a Hollywood big budget movie. The extras are fitted with 80s outfits with most of them as surfers, skaters and hippies.
The filming will continue for 2 weeks in Santa Cruz.

I wonder if they'll sneak some little "Lost Boys" joke into the Santa Cruz scenes.
The Beach Boardwalk figured into that film, and you normally don't just film in that city, and not show it off in some way.

Now THOSE are good ideas. I can kind of invision it. They receive a distress call from this beach and arrive only to find that beachcomber just wants to hang out. They turn down his invitation and begin to leave just as hordes of sharkticons erupt from beneath the waves!

I guess they didn't pick me…

I will gladly skip this movie if that was the case

The new Bumblebee film is going to be real awesome and I hope that Bumblebee's robot form will be the same as his G1 1984 version though.

The more I see, the more I am down for this film. This is looking like a California tourism film, but who cares? Looking like it'll be a fun movie.

You know, since Santa Cruz is a hippie paradise, and it's on a beach, you know who the perfect Autobot to introduce in this movie would be if there will be another besides Bumblebee? Beachcomber!
I still would love Sharkticons to appear in this, too, since it's on the California coast, dude.
