Here’s something we thought was cool. Walmart have been getting some new Transformers banners recently. They sport the current look and the logo that has been used since the branding updated for Transformers Age of Extinction in 2014, but now with the classic Transformers tagline “More than Meets the Eye” below the logo. There’s a fun digital / Matrix style effect on the Autobot logos in the background which are done in black and white, and give the red title a more striking look. It’s really a pity that this striking banner is not being accompanied by more new or recent toys on shelves, many of which such as the newer assortments of Transformers The Last Knight toys have still yet to push through to wider retail releases.
Check out the image of the banner, kindly provided by spartan 3764, attached to this post.

I remember how deluxe dotm was after 60 PLN Good Times… (now 100 pln=one deluxe)

Great! New banners….no toys.

I remember when Walmarts had the Universe 2.0 deluxes on rollback for 7.77, I bought dupes of almost every figure just to keep one sealed.

1) That banner is hideous. Does TFs have any artwork they could use instead? Or is this a new brand that doesn't have renders of anything yet? Have we seen any images of Optimus or Bumblebee yet? Any at all? Maybe from G1 or some 30 years of variation since?
2) Still nice to see SOME effort at retail by Hasbro. But this? Ehhh…. why not toss their ad money straight into the dumpster?

Oh oh I member, member ten buck deluxe figures.

I remember when Animated had a great logo, that was colorful, but also completely new.

you know it's gonna be a slow news week when all you see is a walmart ad on a wall of something already on shelves.

I noticed this as well. I even took a picture of it intending to post it here, but I was to lazy to get around to doing so! This is a much better picture than what my crappy phone took anyways.
I agree with you. I think my store had maybe one or two Nitros, but they were gone not long after I saw them without me having much of a chance to consider. :/
IceMagnus
That's the first Bumblebee Movie figure! lol
Sportimus
Nice, but I can care less about banners. All I ask is for Walmart's to actually STOCK UP ON TRANSFORMERS!!! Never seen Deluxe Squeaks, Hot Rod, Voyager Nitro, etc. No new Titans Returns figures past Hot Rod either.

Interesting, though I've disliked the updated labeling since 2014. I'm still hoping they are going to go back to basics with an evergreen branding versus the identity crisis it's been going through in recent years. I'm personally blasé with all of the lines Hasbro has been putting out.
Most of the isles are barren except for misc RID and the same overpriced movie deluxes that have been out since May. And now that Star Wars is starting to flood the shelves for the next wave of The Farce Awakens: MaReySue Nostalgia's Revenge, they'll be fighting for more space.

Don\'t even try, Walmart. At my local store, transformers don\'t even get half a QUARTER of an isle, if that.
Aimless Misfire
Walmart no longer stocks Transformers. Especially the Generations line. Instead of Transformers a DEAD SPACE banner would be more appropriate.

Remember the days of Animated, CHUGs, and Movie figures always being in stock and distribution being pretty decent? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Remember the days of Animated, CHUGs, and Movie toys taking up a glorious half an isle?

Yeah,Meh.

Mine still has a lot of the tr wave 1 and 2 deluxes that showed up for the $10 sale last year. They've started stuffing generic walformers all around them so Christmas is pretty much sorted already. So boring.
Kyle Blues
too bad the selection of transformers at almost all walmarts I go to is abysmal
Blitz.
looks cool but I'd say if anything this is just a new generic logo and not a sign of any particular line.
