I Picked them up in Sainsbury's they are quite nice.
But there was some on the shelf with errors (one had two Rodimus car modes and no Bumblebee robot mode) so I recommend you check before you buy.

I got one the other day and I'm still chuffed with it, which must be a good sign as I'm normally a fickle old fart that loses interest quickly. I like how Soundwave has a communications dish in both modes. It's a neat addition to his traditional design. Bumblebee is obviously the best figure in this pack. I could see these things turning up in other products like those vending machine eggs or as cheap keyrings or covermounted on TF comics, which happens a lot over here in Blighty.
Quite a few people I've shown this book set to have expressed an interest in buying one, especially at the £6 price they are here. Pretty good play value for the small price. They'd work great with stuff like the Titans Return base modes. Or just build a playset out of Lego.
I wish there were more of these book sets for TF series. Gimme a Beast Wars one.

I posted this nearly a month ago with not as much knowledge as we have now. I have no idea why you quoted this old of a post with the knowledge we have now. None of us knew as much as we do now.
Even though it still can be possible for this to have connections to Cyberverse but it’s extremely unlikely at this point.

We know exactly why they've make toys of these designs: they were created to go on all these kinds of random ancillary merchandise that was previously using random reused Generations packaging art and stuff. And made-for-dollar-store toys definitely fall under 'random ancillary merchandise'.
The guy who created these designs for Hasbro, Emiliano Santalucia, has specifically referred to them as "evergreen designs" – they're not connected to any specific media franchise.

Got one yesterday. The figurines are…well…kinda decent.
Not saying it's a waste of money, I actually liked the figurines, it's just that you need some skills to give them good touch-up work/paint detail repairing.

We're more like 75% sure at this point. We don't know why else they would make toys for these designs, and Grimlock's came out of nowhere.

The RID2015 Warrior Class had the same instructions on the back of the box too, if I recall correctly, but you are right it may be legion class instead of Voyager or something.

I really like how this Bumblebee have wings . Shame that he isn't beetle car anymore, but that's good alternative to have his appearance related to his name. I mostly appreciate how they made him cute again*-* after Bay movies turned him into boring generic autobot-_-.
I agree, though I wish they redsign Soundwave alt mode…I know he can't be cassette player anymore, but come on, he deserve better then some boring car .

Are we 100% sure theses designs are going to be the ones from cyberverse?

Hey that\'s a great set for kids! They look Strong enough for little ones!

I'll be swinging through the big bookstores when I'm nearby to look for this. Might get two or three actually — gifts for kids, and one for me of course.
The RID2015 Warrior class also has the instructions on the card. I'm thinking these are gonna be kinda RID-like.
CowardlyZebra
I normally use legion and legends interchangeably, but I just meant around that general area of figures
VortexPrime
I mean either he is an amazing Legion figure with that joints, or an everage Legend, bigger than that is bad with this design.
CowardlyZebra
Iam almost 100% sure that grimlock is a legion figure. Especially because of the instructions on the back of the box

If I saw this at a discounter (where they all end up), MAYBE?
But who is this intended for? Kids don't really know these G1 characters, so I assume the parents are buying this… for their kids? Because I've gone that route: kids don't care if they aren't into the requisite media. You can't just pick this up and get kids excited about TFs! Especially when the signature, iconic feature (i.e. TRANSFORMATION) is completely removed from the product! :/
In the end, I guess it's a cheap licensing deal and doesn't hurt anything. But you know what might be better? A cool, post G1 story that was original, rather than the likely character summaries this book will contain! Anyone remember those Read-Along books with tapes? That would be fun, too! Read-Along's are much more exciting to kids than books with figurines… (Ironically, the inclusion of these toys might be a detriment to the book's sales potential! Because kids are naturally excited about reading, so they don't really need free figurines to distract them from the main purpose of… buying books).

Anyone getting this wants to sell the soundwave? LoL i have no care for the rest of the figures or the book

The art design is starting to grow on me. If I'm correct in thinking that they're the designs for Cyberverse, then I personally hope that they retain Bumblebee's design. It seems to be a combination of Bumblebee's designs for Generation One and the Movie franchise.
SoundJack426
I like these designs. The Bumblebee is basically what I've thought of for a good G1/Movie/Prime BB design while retaining that roof chest. I'm a bit disappointed that the series is going to have very simplistic figures (if the Grimlock is anything to go by), but this is for the kids and us older fans have got Generations that are more slavishly G1 in most cases.
