Eh, it could be worse. At least it's not OldRiD.

Probably for the US… unless Teletoon decides to start up new episodes on the 16th during their reruns.

Wheeljack won't return.

But thats exactly what the new episode is, it just isn't in that exact order and instead of the Autobots going somewhere and losing it's at their base. Sideswipes random fear of abandonment is the issue that isn't resolved until the final conflict, just in time to give Sideswipe the boost he needed to help save the day. Sure, the Autobots lost their base but the structure of the episode is the exact same, and is always is.

The newest episode of RID15 would like to have a word with you on that.

I can't wait to see all of the members of Team Prime again, including Ratchet, Undertone, Wheeljack, Arcee, Bulkhead, Ultra Magnus, Smokescreen, and Knockout.

Pretty much…

They tried to stop the gag, it just reactivated his prison guard programming and nearly killed them all.

I'd be pretty excited if they do leave for Cybertron, though. I'd much rather see what's going on there with Optimus and potentially other familiar faces instead of what we're seeing right now.

The Fixit joke in particular really needs to stop. It was amusing the first couple of times but given that it's in almost every episode across three seasons just comes off as lazy writing honestly.

Tbh, i think the formula getting kinda old is the only good reason for RID to end.

That's almost exactly what I've been saying for as long as RiD's existed! This predictable baseplate for all episodes to follow is why I never really got into RiD. My favorite episodes are the ones in the Starscream arc because they veer away slightly from the norm, but stuff like Sideswipe offending the Mini-cons fits right at home with what you said. Also note that Clampdown is not a furry Decepticon, as he is a malformed crab loser, so he is technically exempt from your description. Clampdown deserves better.

Even i who loves this show would be lying if I even attempted to disagree with you.

Cool.

Well said boss.

Potentially. But this one is "prepare". So I'd figure it'd be the long winded goodbyes and all around preparing for it.
With a later episode for that or story turn to suggest not leaving.
Budget would fine. It's no different than the ships they've used, and doesn't require all new CG models or anything. The backdrops are mostly still images not full CG renders.
Story-wise they do need to tackle the aspect of what Prime's been doing while away though, and I don't think they've introduced Galvatronus as yet have they? Last ep I saw they were still dealing with Menasor. I'd assume this is the beginning of the finale build.

It probably will. Given most of the arc's ending trends:
Megatronus – 2 parter
Decepticon Island – 2 parter
Starscream – 3 parter
The only odd one out was the Stunticons. But I honestly would like Rid 2015 to end with a TV movie. (wishful thinking)
