I can't parse this sentence at all? Are you saying "people like you do complain when it's your favourite character being used as cannon fodder"?
If so, well, yes, duh, obviously. The Predacons aren't characters I care about, so I don't mind them being used like this. If I did care about them, I obviously would mind. I'm not saying anybody else is wrong for wanting more from them, just that I personally don't care, yeah?
RazorclawX
Except people like you who gloat about this usually forget when it's their favorite on the subject.

Lol yeah, unfortunately I bought this comic hook, line, and sinker, in part because I thought we'd see how the Preds reunited with each other and came upon the Enigma. I may flip through the issue later because I honestly don't remember the explanation but remember thinking it was lame.
I DO think Revolutionaries has generally gotten better since the initial few issues, but the GI Joe stuff just doesn't interest me. Also, each issue has seemed like a gimmick: Team-Up of Transformers, Action Man, and EDC! Soundwave in the Past! Hearts of Steel! Predacons! Cute Kid Detective! Maybe it'll read better as a trade but overall I've been underwhelmed.
YoungPrime
Exactly! The Predacon faction deserves better. And despite some of the snide comments, if Predaking wasn't a valid character, they wouldn't have placed him on the Revolutionaries cover to sell issues.

I became a Transformers fan via Animated and IDW, so I don't give the slightest toss about the Predacons. To me, they're just some overhyped '80s guys.
As such, I was 100% okay with their treatment in Revolutionaries, especially since the "lots of guys have that weakness" gag was amazing.
And as an aside, I haven't been as "into" a Transformers comic as I am Revolutionaries since early MTMTE. And that's coming from somebody who didn't care in the slightest about any of the other Hasbro franchises before Revolution happened. It's punchy and clever and funny and action-packed, and is always a delight to read for me.
UltraMagnus3786
I agree that Predaking was nerfed and that it was poor writing to have them off-screen (i) come across the Enigma of Combination and (ii) become a mindless drone. It also sucks that this is kind of the second time that the Predacons were nerfed, with the first time being henchmen of China back in the Costa days. They can't catch a break!
YoungPrime
Words like "b*tching" or "whining" in this forum are generally used by frustrated people who don't like someone else's comments but can't really dispute them in a legitimate or respectful way. So with that being said, I'm done acknowledging your existence.

I'd like to believe that most people here are bigger fans of Predaking than they are of this Revolutionaries book which is my issue. Predacon's should have a semi-DJD vibe and reputation. Not be used as random peons who hopelessly become slaves to annoying humans that no one really cares about. This happens way too often to popular TF characters. I don't want this to happen to Sixshot, Scorponok or any other bot who's MIA, so people complaining about me exposing this are irrelevant, especially when IDW are the ones losing readers and being forced to cancel ongoing books in the first place.
I want ongoing TF books, stories and characters to excel not become poorly written cash grabs for other Hasbro IP's who can't progress on their own. So if that's considered as "whining", so be it!

It looks like Goldbug and Bumblebee *could* be merged here then. Without having read it yet of course…me no likey.
Danny-Boy
Look, if you don't like Revolutionaries, that's fine. But all you're doing is bitching about a book you clearly don't actually read, so I don't quite get the bitching. DL;DR.
GizmoTron
I guess that's possible, but I think at this point just as likely as the "Megatron goes back in time, loses his memory, and becomes Galvatron" theory.
Yes, he's Goldfire and not Goldbug, so thanks again to Hasbro's trademark shenanigans IDW is able to get two different characters out of it and one less random Spotlight issue that Barber has to twist and contort for it to fit into continuity.
YoungPrime
Wait, wasn't there an issue where Bumblebee got the Goldbug treatment in an old RID issue to complement a Goldbug-esk Generations figure like 4 years ago?
EDIT: Oops! False alarm it was this figure my bad.
YoungPrime
Tell TFWiki"Dot"net that they weren't right since that's where I got Predaking's info from. So again, if you don't like my post then don't read it, I'm not here go back and forth with Revolutionary fans. Buy 20 copies of it if you enjoy it but don't tell me I'm wrong simply because you're bitter or hold some pointless grudge.
The reality is that they screwed Predaking in hopes of selling that lame spinoff/crossover book. And I personally feel that Predaking and especially RAZOR CLAW deserved better!
Thundershot
I doubt it. The annual this year seeded the return of Bee already….
jasonw
There's not. I bet you anything, that Goldbug is Bumblebee.
Thrown back in time by that singularity, winds up on Cybertron – remember, he'd been restyled to look like Goldbug during Dark Cybertron, joins the other Throttlebots, keeps a low profile.
That way they get to bring back Bumblebee in IDW.
Argus
so groove now transforms into… paint?
Megastar
You weren't right either. You just overreacting and it's getting tiring.
Danny-Boy
I'm confused. What do you mean by "provide any valid solutions?"
TyrantLizardKing
True, here's hoping if he does show up he doesn't get a bad portrayal like your example.
ZombehDino
With the Throttlebots making a return, I hope Sixshot shows up again as well.
C16
Wrong. There's plenty of smirks, smiles and other faces of expression across those covers. I can't find the colored version of the Getaway cover, but I noticed they all had expressions of unhappiness and being unsatisfied, as can be gleaned from the issue's description.
