Thanks to instagram users Nick Sloggett and mrtravisspencer via pie125 on the 2005 Boards we have a look at some on-location filming of the Transformers Universe Bumblebee movie. These shots were taken in the Marin Headlands area near San Francisco. Nothing major is seen, no actors or verifiable Transformers vehicles, but we do get a look at a beautiful coastal location along with some pyrotechnics equipment and a 60s (70s?) era Ford Bronco. Much of the movie is being filmed locally in California so expect to see the crew out and about over the next couple months!

"Subjective: 1. based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions."
If it's an opinion or has any sort of bias, by definition it's subjective. Not that there is anything wrong with that, and as long as we're all aware that our opinions are subjective.
Anyway, back to the thread at hand and given the shooting locations, I am extremely curious what specific town, if there is a specific town, the shooting locations will represent. Santa Cruz? The Bay Area? Somewhere else real? Somewhere fictional California town? As someone from the Bay Area originally I am extremely curious, although I am fine either way.
I would seriously love a redwoods battle though! Or a battle between Bee and a Decepticon in the waves…with great white sharks swimming about!

And to be fair, I've said almost the same thing to people who try and claim that the movies are objectively bad.

I love the first movie but imma side with @CKPRIME and @Livingdeaddan here… Not that hard to make out that liking a movie is subjective.
Livingdeaddan
But liking something and deciding others must agree doesn't mean it is!
CKPRIME
By what objective standard can you demonstrate that it is well made?
Duskscream
Hmm
Not liking something does not mean it's not objectively well made.
Livingdeaddan
Objectively good, in your subjective opinion.
Some people don't like T2, or Robocop, or Karate Kid 1. Go figure!
Duskscream
Hmm you have no response to my points, lol.
2007 Transformers is objectively good and I'm not being paid by Bay, so I am clearly objective.

Oh God yes!! The Trans Am in this movie is a 77 or 78, like the Bandit.

I started thinking this film could look like what a live-action Transformers film might have looked like if one had been made in 1987 and got ridiculously stoked. Hype train: boarded.
