More finalized third party test shots have been revealed thanks to DX9! The company posted images of their upcoming additions to the War In Pocket line, Thorner and Rager. These two are DX9’s legends class-sized Dinobots Snarl and Grimlock respectively and seem to be highly articulated despite their size! With Thorner and Rager, DX9’s team of tiny Dinobots will be completed.
Check out the images after the jump, and share your excitement in the discussion below! Thorner is up for pre-order via the sponsors linked below for $35.99 USD, and Rager will likely be listed soon.

Hey. You boys need a lift?
ProwlSpringer2020
And by the way that chest piece gets me every time. And yes those things are sharp!
Pitt
Thanks!
ProwlSpringer2020
I see you figured it out. I used the following video when I first got mine. In case you get stuck again.
Krooked
anybody have any issues with the feet/toes? the screws on mine are so tight they wont budge.
Pitt
Anyone have any tips for getting this guy back to dino mode? I'm stuck on the part where you have to tilt his chest backwards a bit to get the tail to sit right. I can't for the life of me get it to budge. Even sliced my finger on part of the shoulders (that are so sharp I didn't even feel it and only noticed when I had blood all over my hand).
Anyway, I've watched a bunch of review vids, but I can't find any that go from bot to dino. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Finally got it. My problem was the bot head wasn't flipped all the way down. I forgot that it gets stuck on the tail hinge but that's not supposed to be its final resting place. So the head was preventing torso movement.
Avon
That's great. One Skyer, ordered!
joopsta
Me neither, what is the exact problem?
Switchblade
I had absolutely no issues with the knees on Skyer. It wasn't a universal problem.
Avon
Thanks, that's really helpful!
I took a dip in the legends (scout?) 3p pool with DX9 Skywarp recently, and though he isn't perfect, a lot of things really impressed me about him – enough to want to try another figure. My shortlist is Sonic Wizard, Rager, Thorner or Skyer. I'd most like to go for Skyer, but from reading that thread, he has endemic knee problems, which is definitely off-putting.
One of the things I liked most about Skywarp was the fun transformation, so maybe that rules thorner out. Hmmm!
Switchblade
The legs were misassembled: the right leg is on the left hip and vice versa; they're on ball joints so it's a very easy but necessary fix. The big problem is that he is a massive pain in the ass to transform into robot mode. A lot of stuff around the tail is stiff and needs some force to move and the head doesn't really have enough clearance to rotate out of the chest without using some kind of lever. He is great in both modes, though, and he's probably got the best articulation of the five.
Avon
Looks pretty great. We're there any we problems as I believe the previous dinos had (Swoops knees etc)? And articulation wise, can he do a kneel, or hold his arms out vertically to his side?
Thanks in advance!
Cha Chi
It is a tight fit.
The part obstructing doesnt have much purpose, could be trimmed i suspect.
CVprowl
Just ordered this guy and Grimlock from The Chosen Prime. I love Dinobots.
Vangelus
So it's everyone's experience that folding this guy's robot head in and out sucks and totally lacks clearance, right? I was trying to figure out if I was missing something but it seems the consensus is that you just have to stuff it past the red plastic barrier
CoRDS
I got the full set of these guys yesterday and i have to say they are pretty darn nice, funky transformations on each and eveyone of them and they look great in both modes.
Cha Chi
Yeah i had exactly the same thing on all accounts.
The instructions are not clear or immediately obvious how the chest moves position. The back half of him seems tabbed solid and the tabs are tight, you think you have to untab something but once you lift spike panel up the chest slides forward(this was what stumped me how it moves as i guess it did you) and you shouldn't have to use allot of force to move it, so if nothing is moving under force you are probably doing the wrong thing… Once the chest is in position then you can prise open the tabs for the first time, ew tight.
Yeah, one complaint i have is i wish the little "bow legged" joint tabbed so it wouldn't bend, it is such a small joint that it bends as soon as you start moving the legs for posing, kinda only flimsy part of him.
Otherwise, like him a lot. Would take a new head for him but overall impressive.
Thundershot
Got mine today! I had to swap the legs too. My issue right now is trying to get the shoulder section to pivot forward.. I don't want to apply too much force, but it just won't budge..
Edit: what am I missing? I can't even get the tail section to swing out in half. He's just kinda stuck right now because I'm afraid of breaking him.

EDIT AGAIN!
Got it. I watched a video review.. Turns out I was trying to turn the whole torso instead of just the front part.. He looks good now, except for being a little bow legged..
Cha Chi
This is the easy way to do it, just a matter of rotating the leg and panel each 95 degrees in the right order…
Was meant to get my dinos today but blurgh delays.
NOCV
It takes some force getting it in and out of there. I don't think they allowed enough space for his head to smoothly pass through that gap inside. I cringe more wrapping those rear quarter-panels around Slag's dino-hips than I do on this guy, so there's that.
