Via our friend and sponsor Big Bad Toy Store, we have information and pictures of the Mu Model Transformers 3D Metal Puzzles.
These Transformers metal models are amazingly miniature 3D laser cut models that are assembled from metal sheets. These models use a simple slot and tab design so no glue is required, just bend the metal tabs where instructed and attach pieces together.
BBTS has some listing for 3D Transformers Puzzles by a company called Mu Model. We have a Transformers G1 Mini 3D Metal Puzzle Model Kit Six Pack (includes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream, and Prowl in SD Style), Transformers G1 Optimus Prime 3D Metal Puzzle Model Kit (a complete G1 Optimus Prime model), Transformers TLK Optimus Prime Bust 3D Metal Puzzle Model Kit, Transformers TLK Megatron Bust 3D Metal Puzzle Model Kit, and a nice Transformers TLK Sqweeks 3D Metal Puzzle Model Kit.
You can check some key pictures after the jump and then sound off at the 2005 Boards!

Video log building the G1 Prime

These look pretty cool. Especially that G1 Optimus and the TLK Megatron bust. I might get them for a somewhat cheaper price. Though I would much rather see more models continuing the Metal Earth figure series. We only got four of those.

That G1 Prime model looks awesome just not at $59.99. Don't get me wrong, it may be a decent price but I have crappy luck building models and have messed up a few beyond repair in my model building days and I don't think I could stomach screwing up a $60 kit.

These are looking Sharp!

The 3 Optimus ones are seriously tempting me.

That Optimus is extremely cute. As is that Shockwave.

I've built quite a few Metal Earth kits and have a decent toolkit going for them. Few different needlenose pliers, few tweezers, a dozen or so different rods/pens/misc round items for bending around, a little block I 3D printed with edges and curves and some misc items from around the house.
First one I built took an afternoon and was honestly stressful, rest not so much. I could see myself trying to hunt down the G1 Prime, the rest probably not.
RustyBarnacles
Very much like the Metal Earth model kits. Needlenose pliers and tweezers are a must. The benefit that at least the G1 Prime has, is that you are working with much larger pieces.

I've read these are a total pain in the ass to build.

While they all look good, these 3D metal kits are really no fun to build for me. And I love buliding model kits & Lego in general (Gundam, Sci-Fi, military, architect). The only one I may get is Sqweeks, that\'s because all other products we already have better movie/toon-accurate figure/statues representations of.

Anyone know how tall that g1 prime is?

Is there anywhere I can purchase Prowl separately?
Thanks,
