iBooks has posted its latest three-page comic preview, this time for IDW Publishing’s Optimus Prime #10! On the eve of Earth’s formally joining the Council of Worlds, Optimus, Pyra Magna, and Starscream all gather to hear a tale from Alpha Trion: the origin of the Autobot symbol. It’s another story of Galvatron the barbarian in the era of the 13 Primes, and you can check out the pages–as well as a first look at Kei Zama’s cover for the issue–after the break, and then pick the issue up on August 30.

If he did lose by a tiny margin, it probably will end up mattering because likes money and sees a market.
QLRformer
That cover looks freaking metal.
GizmoTron
Sure, if you say so.
Losing not one vote but two votes can't be a whoppin' because we don't know how many actual votes Deathsaurus lost by, despite "close enough" not actually counting for anything.
Maybe you're name should be Spinister? Because that's quite the spin you put on the outcome of the vote there.
samisham
That's not a whoppin'.
Danny-Boy
This issue is primarily a Galvatron the Barbarian story featuring Arcee.

Given how he was takin' orders from Tarn, I find it a bit hard to believe that Deathsaurus was the "big-bad" that was mentioned. Onyx, being a prime, makes more sense.
Maybe DZ p) is one of those Cybertronians that's based off – or shares a similar to- the design of one the original 13 like some of the other transformers do.

If Onyx Prime does have a role here like the cover implies does this mean we'll get more insight on him and possibly Optimus Primal along with Deathsaurus? Cause the fact that Deathsaurus has a lot of visual similarities like people have pointed out along with Primal being king of Eukaris have strong ties to Onyx Prime in general.

One vote is all it takes to deliver a whoopin'.
Florgeysteve
If I remember correctly the power of the primes vote went something like this. Primal was first, unknown evil was second, ultra Magnus third with star saber coming in Last. So maybe the beasts were the forerunners for winning the vote. Just a theory mind you.
trence5
Same here! I'd loved to see a serious set in Cybertron's distant past.
trence5
nice .
Murasame
Nice. I might buy that for a change
MyTea Boc
Me too.
I am loving Kei Zama and Josh Burcham's work on this series. A definite treat for the eyes.
Nocturne
Ooooh, I love flashback to ancient Cybertron issues!
Verno
This is the first issue in quite a while that I'm very interested to see.
Windsweeper II
If they get toys, one will likely be a retool of the other.
I hope this will be as much of a stand out issue as The Crucible was.
Magneon Sentinel
Oh okay. I don't really read the Optimus prime series. He does kinda look like him tho. Thanks!

Hasbro said it was at botcon.
We don't know that, for all we know he was one vote behind, only Hasbro and maybe Takara and IDW have the raw numbers
