Amazon has added a new preorder for an upcoming Transformers: The Wreckers Saga paperback. The paperback will collect all five issues from the fan favorite mini-series The Last Stand of The Wreckers as well as it’s sequel, Sins of the Wreckers. The book is listed for a December 19th, 2017 release.
UPDATE: Nick Roche has updated his Twitter account with the following regarding the contents –
“Merry Wrecksmas? Full contents TBD, but it’s looking like ALL the fiction – strip and Prose – will make the cut. Oh, and all-new cover too.”
“Join the toughest crew of Autobots around on a pair of missions where they’ll face seemingly insurmountable odds and things are guaranteed to end badly.”
First, the Wreckers and their leader, Springer, are sent to investigate Garrus-9, a prison that fell to the Decepticons three years ago, with no communications in or out since. Who’s really behind the prison siege, and what dark secret awaits Springer inside? The answers to those questions will send this mission to the razor’s edge!
Then, Prowl has been kidnapped. Worse for him, it seems like no one really cares, thanks to his history messing with people’s lives. The only person he trusts to rescue him is Springer of the Wreckers. To bad he’s been in a coma ever since the events in Garrus-9. Traitors are revealed, secrets come to light, and it may all be more than even the baddest crew of Autobots can handle.
Collects Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers #1-5, named the #1 Transformers series by IGN, and Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers #1-5.

That's what I think. Also I just realized I didn't even answer your question. The empty bubbles were intentional.
Carnage73
Yes, that's the section that I am referring to. Also, does anyone else wonder how Ostaros became Springer? Maybe he was the 'Bot that Triple Changer science was perfected on?
Thundershot
This… I don't want a collection. I just want a hardcover of the second story.
AutobotAvalanche
If it's the section with Springer and Tarantulas, I believe so.

Ref SOTW # 5, page 15, were the word balloons that were missing letters/words intentional or a production error?

I lean toward GOOD while Last Stand was GREAT. The art in LSOTW was bright and vibrant, and (probably intentionally by Roche) darker in Sins which I don't like as much. Story is also pretty good but after a few reads it just doesn't resonate with me like LSOTW does. Still better than a lot of the other IDW TF books though.

I didn't like it as much as Last Stand, mainly because Guzzle was a massive prick in Sins.

I would say pretty great! I don't think it resonated with me quite as much as Last Stand did, but it's still very enjoyable.
On this release, I have to echo the sentiment for a Sins HC. Also, why are we getting fat TPBs for this and Windblade, but IDW can't for the life of them finish up TF Classics UK?!

Not sure of the general consensus, but I found it a bit meh.
YoungPrime
What's the overall consensus on Sins of Wreckers?
Great?
Good?
Just okay?
Meh?

I believe I read somewhere that it was tweeted that the extras will be included. I'll try to find it.

I've been wanting a Hardcover Sins of Wreckers book ever since I bought LSOTW last year! This is an interesting listing but I'm really not interested if it's paperback and doesn't include all the extras.

But where is the nice OHC of just Sins of the Wreckers? I need a companion for LSOTW . . .
TyrantLizardKing
Definitely need this.
DJW107PRIME
Yeah I'm in for one.

I'm sure that it will include all the profiles and stuff @AutobotAvalanche. Question is: Will the combined paperback collection of both stories carry the extras that the hardcover of the "Last Stand of the Wreckers" had in which the TPB did not carry? That remains to be seen. I have the TPB versions of each title.
AutobotAvalanche
I'd love to have this.. I wonder if it comes with all the profiles and stuff?
Purple Heart
Oh man.

Ooh, I might just have to pick this up!
