Fans of the Fall of Cybertron and War for Cybertron video games can rest easy for their fix of toys thanks to third party group. After some nice reveals at TFcon over the weekend, they’ve now announced on their Facebook page a repaint of their version of Grimlock. Vulcan Metallic version is on it’s way, giving the Dinobot leader a nice shiny coat of paint.
Vulcan Metallic has a November release date scheduled. Check out the pics after the break.

Just received this figure and hip joints are very loose, can these be tightened as he’s struggling to hold a pose atm in robot mode.

Hey, if anyone has interest in the regular version, I’m selling mine MISB.

Thinking of upgrading my grimlock which is one of my most loved figures ever to the metallic version, but I wanted to know if it is worth it. I want all the dinobots but haven’t pulled the trigger all these years and I’m glad, since the metallic versions I’ve heard look more game accurate, but my team has to match. So is it worth it to buy the metallic grimlock and get the whole team like that, or just continue with the normal versions as I already have grimlock?

How resilient is the paint on metallic Vulcun?

Does this guy only have a waist swivel or is there one of those extendable ab crunch things like with Coeus?

Metallic version is in stock right now on BBTS right? I do kinda wanna buy a Vulcun too… I sold mine off a while back. Can't decide between the metallic which is nice and shiny but not glossy or a metallic grey, or the regular version that has the darker gray, but no shine or glossy finish.

I see, I was afraid of it being so reddish in person so I ended up getting the regular version. Hope I can sell it at TFCon and buy the metallic version instead

It might be that those photos have more saturation in them. Like how some toy photographers add those effects. It always drove me nuts seeing the pinkish red sword and shield. Other than that maybe it's the lighting. Certain translucent plastics and even painted translucent plastics will look drastically different under different colored lighting. I can't think of a figure off the top of my head except for my studio series bumblebee movie VW Bee. There's yellow plastic and lots of translucent plastic painted yellow. My collection has some remote controlled LED lights that change colors. Under blue lighting it makes the translucent plastic look almost orange and it's clearly distinguishable which is which. Under normal white lighting it's a little harder for me to tell which one is the translucent plastic.

Is anyone able to explain why the pics on BBTS and Showz show the sword and shield of the metallic version being basically red, while most reviews and pics show it as being more like an orange, similar to the normal version?

and it’s been 17 months since their last reveal or update

FOC Bruticus is RIGHT THERE for the taking.

They've moved on to IDW era Dinobots now.
It's a shame because I hoped for years for either a WFC Optimus Prime (though we're getting that voyager now I guess) or the WFC Concept art Springer.

Is Planet X still making any WFC/FOC figures? Been away for years and was hoping they’d have done Soundwave by now at least
SharkyMcShark
I will agree with the sentiment in here – years later and this remains an S Tier third party figure.

Bought her (first PX product for me) at a super close out some years back but you’re right, I might bite if a metallic comes along.
