Guys! I\'ve been investigating about the show. What if that new mini series was meant to be for 2018 and literally got cancelled?

Yeah, I know right? I'm happy the show is continuing too! And also, have you heard the news? While I was at Facebook, I just saw that there's really going to be a "Transformers Robots In Disguise 2015" Season 5 which includes 7 episodes, isn't that exciting news?
Spin-Out
I'm cool with this. Hopefully the added time means we'll end up getting a Warrior Springload so Warrior Quillfire has his partner-in-crime/insanity. They managed to make a pretty good Legion of him, but I want him to scale with Quillfire.

Not really. Animated was made together with Cartoon Network, and when TF movie cash came flowing in Hasbro wanted to start their own media outlet (the Hub) and couldn't continue that on their own (although they did eventually have the rights to show the show in 16:9 HD, yay!). They also wanted to try out something that was more in line with the movies.
Previous Hasbro investors slides showed Animated was not performing worse than any other non-movie year line at that time.
Not want to start that argument there, but I'd like to point out that it's one of the things I really like about RID. It's not really delivering in my opinion, but it IS trying to do its own thing and come up with fun new elements to the lore. Really big fan of the animal Decepticons!
Unfortunately, it's not – in my opinion at least. Not sure how other people feel about this, but I definitely feel the writing is still at the same level of the Starscream arc. Doesn't really matter to me I guess, I'm happy picking up the occassional deluxe warrior figure.

I'm glad the show is continuing. Although the writing doesn't necessarily appeal to me, I love the aesthetic and the toy line has been great. Even with the simplicity in design, the transformations are fun with just the right amount of complexity.

I think I have a question: Right after "Transformers Robots In Disguise – Combiner Force", then is there really going to be a "Transformers Robots In Disguise 2015" Season 5, which really has 7 episodes?

Its intro was amazing though, not gonna lie.
You already asked me that lol.

Yeah, I know right? I can hardly wait to finally see Wheeljack again, along with James Horan finally coming back to reprise hie role as Wheeljack, just like from "Transformers Prime", how about you?
Windsweeper II
The first season was definitely a great, well written show, season two lost a little of that and i know that whole Starscream nonsense was a low point for the show.
I haven't watched fourth season yet, but i hope it's more in line with the first season.
Hollywood Hoist
I'm thrilled this show is doing well. Though I know a new show is on the horizon. Rid is a fun show with great cast of characters. While I don't think it's quite as good as Animated it's up there with Beast Wars and Rescue Bots as some of the best TF shows.
Sportimus
I made it through the first season, but after that, I just had no interest in the show to continue. I know the Starscream ark was pretty good. I don't dislike the show, it just never caught my attention enough to keep me interested. The toys are hit or miss, too. I don't think they ever even came out with a Voyager sized RID toy so far. And the Deluxes need paint apps desperately on many of them. But there are at least a few winners. As for the show, I guess it is getting good enough ratings and the toys are selling well enough to continue? So be it. Even if it isn't my cup of tea, I'm happy to see Transformers prosper. Even if I do miss TF: Prime…

Hated animated , never ever want to see it return
NanakoPreame
Because RiD does mostly thier own thing without using TF references and homages every 1.5 episodes.
BigRed
Because it performed well enough that it's producers deemed it a worthwhile venture to keep making it. While Animated didn't.
It's that simple, that logical.

I honestly think Animated could fit in with CN since they're airing Steven Universe which focuses on other issues. I do hope it somehow makes a comeback.
Wubglitch
I miss the Animated series. But who to blame? Hasbro? Or CN? CN only want a show like Teen Titans Go.
TyrantLizardKing
Maybe I'm just not paying attention enough, lol.
Stygian360
RID toys may not sell well in your area, but everywhere I look they push through wave after wave all the time. This is certainly more than Prime ever did, which is odd since IMHO those designs were better. Face it… RID is a bonafide hit and kids/collectors actually like the figures and the show.
Nightrain
Why was THIS show allowed to go this long, but not Animated?
Gallade
One can only hope. Also, if I remember correctly,
Well said! Episodes have been getting better!
Also, you know who's more important than Prime and Windblade? Jazz. I need him back and more of Blastwave.
