I'm listening to them now on the first movie and think they are just trying to be obnoxious
Rotorstorm
Maybe it's something to do with robots that turn into or have names related to insects? Waspinator pulled himself back together (though not magnetised like that!)
LeTigre
It's a slog. I Kinda personally prefered (well loved) the "We Hate Movies" podcast take on the film. #itsjustabadmovie #itsokaytolikeathing
BattleUpSaber
Not gonna lie, i was looking forward to this more than the movie itself.
Bumblebee765
Ah, excellent: four hours of "Vangelus and Crew should write the movies."
Switchblade
This was fun. I haven't watched a Transformers movie since Dark of the Moon, but I still get a lot of schadenfreude… I mean "enjoyment"* out of listening to others respond to the films.
*I mean schadenfreude.

I legitimately forgot Optimus Prime had an alt. mode until it just showed up at the end.
Requiem Prime
Every time Hasbro returns to Bay, I get this powerful vibe that they don't know how it works, so they're replicating the good and the bad out of fear it won't work.
Bay, done with this since the first one, is now actively trying to ruin the franchise so they stop calling, BECAUSE he's not principled enough to say no to all that money.
KevinSig
So is this an accurate timeline or was something left out?
Wreckgar
Just got to autobots taking in car mode.
The stupid twins did it when they were the ice cream truck
Vangelus
2 episodes have been recorded since (yay editing pile-ups), we do talk about the SDCC box set but not a whole lot about reactions. I let out some steam about dumbass reactions on twitter
probably not gonna update on box office numbers unless someone else wants to bring it up b/c I kiiiiinda don't care enough to talk at length >.>
Electro Rush
On one hand, I think this may be the worst of all the movies. The pacing and editing alone places this at the bottom….. but on the other hand, I don't actually want to rewatch Revenge Of The Fallen to confirm which deserves the bottom spot. In all honesty, I don't think any of these movies are good and I enjoy them in the same way some people enjoy the Sharknado films.
agentSAP2006
No, that was all Nitro. Onslaught had the line about needing a bigger door.
That Guy
It is interesting that there was an assumption at the time of recording that the movie would still be successful in China. It seems to be most successful there but still not doing great. Would there be a little update on box office speculation next podcast?
Also, would the podcast team care to weigh in during the next podcast on the fandom's reactions to the SDCC box set and the casting decisions for the bumblebee movie when they are covered in news updates? It has been… disheartening to watch some of the reactions.
FanimusMaximus
The more I listen to this the more depressed I get that we will never get anything legitimately, un-ironically, and not jokingly good ever in Transformers cinema ever again….
Chaos Muffin
Starcream's head is a plothole alone.
It was the only part of Starscream that was destroyed.
Now it's the only part left wtf
shiftshock
You all merged nitro zeus and onslaughts intros. I figured one you would catch it, but none of you even noticed. Nitro zeus is shuffling along while being escorted by guards saying something like "Praise megatron I'm free at last". Onslaught was the one who had the goodbye speech for the guards and the "say hello to your wife for me" line. That was a great moment that made me really like him, so naturally he gets killed right away, wasting all the potential.
Spiderus Prime
Great job on reviewing the movie, and when the Bumblebee Movie review podcast needing a lot of Movie Bumblebee fans. (Like me.)
Bravemaximike
I'm about 2 hours in and I'm digging this episode. Haha
And I just realized as I write this that I still have 2 more hours! Cool.
Vangelus and team, I love how you're tackling this movie. Staying positive whilst ripping it apart? Its about the only way to stay sane and appreciate what we've been given, instead if anguishing over how much better it could've and should've been.
I listen every week, but my hat goes off to you, this week especially, good sirs.

I thought this topped AoE.
As far as the military stuff goes…I'll take pandering to the US military over pandering to the Communist Party of China.
The Knights of Iacon and their relationship to the Dinobot knights was a bit confusing.
Vivian was probably the best female lead we've had. She wasn't ogled and objectified, and she was Marky Mark's intellectual superior.
@Seth Buzzard
I actually liked the King Arthur stuff too.
But I have to stand up for a King Arthur movie that came out earlier in the summer.
The fact is that was pop culture knows as the Arthurian legend is basically high medieval fan fiction based on early medieval legends and pseudo-history. The King Arthur stories we know are pretty far removed from the stories that foed the basis of the myth.
So with that in mind? I had no problem with Guy Ritchie taking elements from Arthurian lore and using them to tell his own story. It's just following in the traditions of authors who have constantly tweaked and altered the Arthurian story over hundreds of years.
