Last but by no means least, we have word that the mighty Titans Return Trypticon has now arrived at US retail! TFW2005 member Heat Guy reports finding the big guy in Think Geek in Oklahoma, priced at $149.99.
The latest addition to the Titan Class, Trypticon comes with his own Deluxe class partner, Full-Tilt, and he likes nothing better than snacking on Titan Masters.
Could Trypticon be the toy of the year? We’re sure he may well be! Happy hunting everyone!
MrVanimal
Just got him delivered today. I must have got a later production run because I have no issues with the hip ratchets or the Full Tilt chest piece. Very happy!
That Guy
Hmm… Hopefully it doesn't bite me in the ass but I'm going to hold out until he's $75. Paying half price on Metroplex and Fort Max I think contributed tremendously to my enjoyment of those toys.
MrVanimal
On sale at Walmart as well for $99.99. Ordered online and used a gift card on it.
Tenion the Offender
I wish Sixshot and Overlord would go on sale again too…
Deadsled
Back on sale on Amazon $99.99:

Maybe next Christmas?…
This Christmas seems a bit early, especially since it will likely be either ordered in lower quantities than Fort Max, or produced in lower quantity than Fort Max. Not really sure if Ollie's was because stores did not sell what they wanted, or Hasbro didn't sell what they hoped to.

Got mine at the one in Braintree, MA. Going to do the hip fix when I get home.

Lucky bastard!!!!! Nice score.
Yes, but sad day for us on the west coast trying to get a city bot for under fiddy at retail is tough.
Fyi, associate told me Walmart is doing their stock reset on aug7. Not sure if that specific date is for all stores, but I imagine they are all doing it around this time.

I'm kind of lucky. I actually found FortMax at Ross… TWO of em! Gave one to a friend who almost begged me for it. …and he posts on this forum.
backhawkdown
Or the ceiling high stacks of them at Ollies at an even lower price.

I'm just hoping there's no major repercussions due to this leg/hip problem.
Between Bayformer's figures shelf warming at retail in my area and the possibility of Tryp getting a lot of returns. This could impact TF's future at some retail stores.
Heck, Walmart's TF distribution in my area has been terrible this year already.
Electro Rush
I won't defend the qc issue but cutting that spring is the first thing I'm doing when I get mine.
YoungPrime
Yeah, I saw Obtibotimus's review last night. And he basically defended it saying he just cut a spring in half but I haven't gotten to Emgo's yet.
Pretty disappointing…
Gamerlingual
Emgo and Optibotimus confirmed that the hips are widespread issue from their reviews. Pretty sad Hasbro bombed on the QC
Chillyn
You mean like fortmax at ross? Heh good luck trying to get one. I hunted everyday for a week and wasn't alone coming out empty handed
YoungPrime
My bad…..Remold….Redeco….Retool…. Fort Max is definitely something with "Re" in it.
Nevermore
Fort Max reuses some parts from Metroplex, but in no way is he a "repaint".
MrVanimal
I'll wait until he is on Amazon.
Omega495
Now in stock at tfsource.

Mine broke when I hit the pre-order button. Damn fragile figures.
I guess some people just want for display, others do what they will. If there is a known issue, the information can be used to take caution when handling it.
