Last year we learned that Hasbro were intending to make Titan Master versions of Optimus Prime and Trizer – or Toraizer as the name is sometimes pronounced – as a part of the Titans Return line. Since that initial computer listing, we’ve heard nothing more of the pair.
Amazon Germany have recently added a pair of listings which confirm the pair of Titan Masters are still coming to Titans Return – with one minor change. Toraizer is listed, but it appears it is Optimus Primal who is getting the Titan Master treatment with him!
We’d expect to see both of these at the San Diego Comic Con next week, but we can make an educated guess at Optimus Primal being a remold of Titan Master Apeface, and Toraizer being a remold of Sawback. Check back next week to see if we’re right!

D@mn, no wonder I felt that something was missing from the list for releases (I remember reading about Titan Master Optimus Prime)…So these complete the circle.
As we're now transiting into POTP, don't think we'll be seeing these anymore?
Nevermore
Thing is, all the numbers (Hasbro product code numbers, UPC barcodes, EAN barcodes) imply that Primal and Toraizer were supposed to be part of wave 5 along with Ramhorn (in fact, Ramhorn always has the highest numbers!).

Except Brawn at the least wasn't the one who was listed. The listed one was probably a Gears redeco / retool.
I suspect Toraizer was to be a black and purple version of Sawback, and Primal an Apeface retool. A shame they haven't made it, but it seems like it's one of those things that was planned and then they ran out of assortments / retailer interest / bumped into oblivion by the movies. They can chill with Demolition Rumble and pals.

What about Toraizer though?

Considering Primal is getting a POTP leader class release, they will find a way to get the primal head to market. Too awesome to pass up on letting collectors have primal have his own head in his torso.

RIP TR TM W6.OPmal would have boosted my small scale BW collection, and I wanted Toraizer.Badly.

It is too bad these figures did not end up as part of wave 5 as originally rumored. That would have been a pre-order buy for me with only one repack. As is I waited for a discount so the repacks can be used for customs.
I do hope they end up in some special release. We have the presumed deluxe and Titan Master figures from the cancelled box sets in the Arcee and Grotesque 3-packs. Perhaps with whatever voyagers were planned. I also still want that concept art Star Convoy head. A Hasbro release of Legends Lio Convoy and Trained might be fun.

I would really love to see what they were going to look like.

It’s possible. After all, Brawn and Gnaw were listed long before they were eventually released.

POTP is hitting now, so that makes sense, but they may come back around after, or get pushed into exclusives somewhere.

As was I .

So disappointing. I was really looking forward to Toraizer.

I found Walmart listings for the UPCs from the old TRU listings. Unsurprisingly, they read as "discontinued by vendor".
This would have been Optimus Primal
This would have been Toraizer

It's started with anything Combiner Force, and wave 3 of all the major Titans Return price points. The Last Knight also does it.
Nope, I'm looking these up from home using an external service, so I have no way of knowing the actual status of these listings.
Maybe we'll know more once the Ramhorn listing gets updated with photos.
Purple Heart
It was the Micromaster upgrade that made everyone smaller and more fuel efficent. The headmasters in the US(and thus BW) were just suits.

Oooo, interesting, ta. I know we'd been charting the occasional solid case that reached toy stores here but didn't know they started doing it for everything.
Any way of seeing if they still think they're getting these or not?
Nevermore
Yeah. That's a new thing Hasbro is doing for Europe since the beginning of 2017. Each new toy finally has its own individualized EAN barcode as opposed to an assortment-wide barcode, and toys are apparently all offered to online retailers as solid cases instead of waves (which make more sense at brick and mortar retail).

Having looked this thread up for the Titanmaster Ultra Magnus thread, I've been struck by the word SOLID in both listing titles.
SOLID as in Solid Cased?

armada sell quite well i am surprised we didnt get a titan return sideways

Leaders and Legends don't fit into the Voyager torso + four Deluxe limbs set up they had for Combiner Wars. But everybody Deluxe and larger can have a detachable head. Although Hasbro should have focused on completing all the original Headmasters, the fact is they were able to do more molds and more repaints for Titans Return than there were Headmasters in 1987 and 1988. They weren't going to end the line prematurely just because they ran out of characters to do.
