Jason Mantzoukas, well known for his comedy writing and acting chops, recently shared his experience of working in the Age of Extinction writers’ room run by director Michael Bay.
And did any of the jokes pitched by Mantzoukas make the finished film?
“I don’t think so,” he says. “We were writing jokes for the T.J. Miller character. And T.J. himself, I think, improvised a lot of very funny stuff in the movie. I don’t know that any of my jokes actually made it in.”

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Got 'em!
SPLIT LIP
Or in the TF movies cases, beaten up.

It was probably more of a script doctor situation. Most movies get punched up by people other than the credited story/writer guys during the writing process

I'm confused. Wasn't the writer's room created after AOE?

I wish that show had significantly less paul scheer, i really dont like him…..
shin03
Right. I guess that's why the transformers movies don't show up on "how did this get made"
dragonlord2200
Raffi from The League wrote some jokes for AOE????? I want him to make more movies and include more jokes
