Transformers: The Last Knight is trooping onward with additional promotional material to supplement the film. The movie will get a companion virtual reality game in IMAX VR locations. It lasts about 5 minutes and is produced by Michael Bay himself.
Transformers: The Last Knight VR Experience is a single-player, VR shooter that teams players with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Hound to recover a powerful weapon from the Decepticons. They must protect and securely transport the weapon in order to prevent the destruction of a nearby metropolis. Putting players right into the action straight away, the experience sees them immediately being attacked by the Decepticons as they attempt to steal back the weapon.
Transformers: The Last Knight VR Experience will be available this Friday, 30th June, free of charge for a limited time in IMAX VR centres at AMC Kips Bay 15 in New York City and across from The Grove in Los Angeles and in select AMC Theatres lobbies.
You can read the full details over at VR Focus. Thanks to Cuillere of the 2005 Boards for the heads up!

Had to re-read that a couple times, I was getting hung up on Swindle as the character. I kept reading it "Christopher (end of name) Swindle voices Hound".

This
Edit:
I just got back from the imax vr.
I enjoyed it, it's very close feel to the transformers universal ride.
Barricade hanging on Megatrons jet mode while you try to shoot Barricade down was crazy.
The only known characters are Barricade, Cogman (only in the introduction scene) Optimus, Barricade and Megatron (Jet mode only) the rest are drones. At the end of the ride that Devastator looking thing shows up. And the ride ends.

looks like we will see more optimus in this than in the movie!

I'm going to have to go soon! I read its available at other AMCs like the one on 34th and the Lincoln square location.
Shadow25
AMC Loews Kips Bay on the East Side of Manhattan. They have a lot of stations set up there, but only one Transformers one.

Where did you try this at?

Its excellent! It doesn't feel short either but it doesn't feel long. The line can sometimes be long but all the stuff inside while waiting is very cool.

I tried this today! It was pretty neat. Nothing unbelievably amazing, but a fun couple of minutes. It's an on rails shooting game where you can look 360 degrees. You ride in Hound and shoot up Cons as Bee and later Optimus help out. Cogman makes an appearance as well.
The coolest part in my opinion was after the action ends, when you come face to face with Optimus for a wrap-up speech (And a cool scene follows that before it's over).

I love how everything about the movie is good except for the actual movie.
Appleseed
The VR trailer scenes already greater than the movie..what is Michael Bay thinking exactly…
