Apparently caring and being involved is all the rage recently, like when they ask you to care about your job providers goals.
words like fidelity have left the boundaries of family and are truly within public domain.
To this there is only one thing that can help you.
Every day when you wake up open the window and scream
'CHARLES BUKOWSKI' is the closest thing I know to god! VIVA BUKOWSKI'
he truly was the grand visir of all 'don't give a fuckers'
Also reading his stories atleast once a year help put perspective.
I suggest the one where the photographer wants to take a picture of himself while imitating Onan…
Murasame
And who are these guys? Wait, I know Miles Mayhem.
Still, doesn't sound threatening at all.

If people never make their displeasure known, the books will never be improved. Or fixed, depending on how you look at it. If only the voices of the people happy with this stuff are heard, IDW will have no clue what they can be doing as their sales numbers continue to drop and drop.
I like chocolate in my peanut butter. But this is more like fish in my ice cream.
Murasame
Uh, I don't see a video. Where is it?
Danny-Boy
Eh, if you don't care about the chocolate in your peanut butter, that's your prerogative. You're missing out on some awesome books. But I do have to ask, why come into a thread just to complain without adding anything of substance?
omegafix
exactly, thank you!

like I said in parentheses I wasn't trying to be insulting, sorry if it came off in that way. I don't give two shits about any of this forced shared universe bullshit. Never did, never will, and until its ended so is my business with IDW

Shadow Panther is not a jerk; you're misreading his post, Megastar.
The only sin Shadow committed (and I don't blame him) is to quote someone else when expressing a contrary viewpoint. That's automatically seen as aggressive/mean/"troll" on here. It's not. Shadow made his own comment on the topic, and he piggybacked off the longest comment he found. He might not have even read the entire original post. His post was clearly meant more in jest, not in mean mockery.
We really should try to get along better here – there are better places to look for conflict.

I hate crossovers because they're meaningless drivel – no one dies, no one is stronger than anyone else, nothing gets accomplished. It's just a chance to merge readerships and introduce characters to people who don't read about them already. Everything else is just garbage-Great-Expectations-paid-per-word filler.
I mean, to be more constructive, they could introduce a third TF race to annihilate (and actually do so). But that's comics: dragging out stories in a soap-like manner and never really getting anywhere because you don't want to kill off anyone too important or move onto other characters. Japanese mangas, on the other hand…
Megastar
No, becusce of how fucking dismissive you're were to Danny-Boy's points.
omegafix
how am I a jerk? because I don't give 2 shits about Baron Ironblood (whoever the fuck he is) or any part of this shared Universe bullshit?
grindcore138
I'm struggling to feel anything about First Strike, not in a "waaaa, me no like the Hasbroverse" sense, I just… don't really care about it?
People don't like crossovers precisely because they're such an overused thing in comics.
Megastar
Wow, can you be anymore of a jerk?
Windsweeper II
I'll give you Doctor X, Mindbender and the Microspace rulers. But Storm Shadow and the october guard? Really?
And that Iron Klaw and Miles Mayhem stuff is just a lot of "As of now this character has the power to freeze time with his mind because i wrote him that way." If that is your reasoning anyone can be a threat to anyone and not even Unicron means anything anymore. (Funny fact: He never really meant anything anyway cause he always got his ass kicked like it was nothing.) So if Barber writes that little Charlie Warner can blow up the world by sneezing he's the most dangerous creature in existence
Plus that General Blitz guy, judging from his speech is an even worse hopeless romantic than Brave New Worlds John. He should better stop dabbling in science and start writing poems before he hurts himself
omegafix
not to be insulting to you Danny-Bot (which I am not) but to respond to your points

People on here complaining about "how are humans supposed to be a threat to Cybertronians?" keep forgetting who's actually doing this invasion. This is Baron Ironblood, people! This is a supervillain who commands an army of robotic soldiers and ninjas and is in collusion (or has colluded in the past) with

I don't know why you guys dislike crossovers so much here. It's a very common thing with any comic company. But I'd prefer an event like dark cybertron where it's the transformers comics crossing back over.

I wasn't either. And when Revolution was first announced, I initially was unsure, but I eventually decided that I was going to get into everything, simply because I would have more to read, in addition to having stuff to help pass the time inbetween TF comic releases. Not to mention I'm a completionist. And I became a G.I. Joe fan in the process, I've read the entirety of the IDW comics and I'm well into the RAH continuation.
I'm looking forward to First Strike way more then Revolution. Based on the interviews, it seems this is going to have quite a few TAAO's political aspects and a few story threads. Not to mention, this'll be the first meeting between Optimus and Elita One, and they are going to be at each other's throats! Plus I'm curious as to how Cobra is able to take down so many Transformers.
And it is becoming clear that IDW is falling into the same holes as Marvel(and to a lesser extent DC). But I've noticed that these overarching event narratives have only one more entry each. The yet to be named event for the Hasbro-verse and the Power of the Primes for just Transformers. What's to happen after those?
Having the TF comics not take a break during First Strike is like an added bonus to me.
Skullhammer
No interest in crossover comics anymore.
