Just as figures from Titan Returns wave 4 are becoming a common sighting, the next wave of toy line is already coming out of the woodwork. Thanks to Yenting Lai of the Taiwanese Transformers fan group TFND, we have images of what appears to be a production sample of wave 5’s Titans Return Windblade, which was first revealed during this year’s Toy Fair. The image showed off Windblade in vehicle mode with the twin sword attatched, and also in robot mode in flight pose demonstrating its posability. The poster stated that while the figure is a brand new mold, the transformation felt similar to that of Titans Return Highbrow (there’s a few bits of shared tooling with Highbrow present too, such as the hips). Unfortunately we did not get to see Windblade’s titanmaster in robot mode this time, but more detailed images are sure to surface later on. In the meantime, check out the image gallery of the cityspeaker, and let us know what you think of figure after the break.

I don't like how her legs seem so big compared to the rest of her body. I like it and I'm planning to buy it. I'll just have to photograph her from the waist up.

I still like the T30 Windblade, particularly the robot mode, but this is a nicely bulked up update.
The jet mode looks quite a bit betterthan the T30.
My only issue with the Titans Return version is that the hips and thighs are rather blocky. Ith would have been nice if they were a bit more rounded.

LOL at that bot mode Legends photo where they have to split her leg in half to get her to stand up

I don't know what it is, but there's something I just don't like about this figure.

I could never unsee her feet sticking straight up in alt mode on the Legends version….

Just wanted to drop in some comparisons to the legends Windblade. IMO legends is superior aesthetically, kind of a pain to pose. The TR one is probably more stable.

I definitely am biased as I own multiple versions of the older mold. TR is a bit too blocky IMO. To each his own, choices are great.

I've never owned a Windblade figure. This will be the first, she looks damn wonderful.

The magic of Titans Return, making me want to buy Windblade!

The old one isn't "suddenly" bad, it was bad from the moment it was released.

I dont love the small forearms but i prefer them to the thin upperarms of the T30.
ch40sknight is selling her to me with those pics.
The only thing really bothering me is the huge cockpit backpack, wish they had found a way to make it look better.

Looks like the headmaster is female. It wasn't a guarantee..

Wow, I like this – much better than the Thrilling 30 one. Sold.

The new pics definitely make her look like a fun figure. The old one is not suddenly bad but the new one really looks great.

The new pics are making her look more appealing. Still don't care for the small forearms but other then that she's solid in more ways then one. Makes me wish we can get a Maxima out of this mold in the future.

They gave the Headmaster a bit of an hourglass figure.

From this angle she looks amazing… though the hideous Hasbro deco on T30 isn't doing it any justice in that comparison.
Still content with LG Windblade. If Takara retools her hips for a possible Legends release, I'll bite.

I hadn't really given her much thought since she was revealed, but this Windblade might end up replacing my LG one if I find one in the wild. The headsculpt is fantastic, although I may well have to de-Headmaster her.
