AFTERMATH! The war with the Functionalists is over-and Rodimus is left wondering whether he won or lost. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the displaced crew of the Lost Light, as decisions are made that will change their lives forever.

Hopefully. HOPEFULLY. No more Megatron??
Unpopular opinion: Megatron\'s been ruining MTMTE/LL for me since the first issue he appeared in.
I didn\'t even notice it until I started making my Cards Against Transformers deck and I realized I couldn\'t remember much about MTMTE S2. I had to go back and take a look at the issues to see why I couldn\'t remember stuff from that. (If I can\'t remember bits of a story, that generally means I didn\'t like it much.)
Re-reading it, I realized I\'m really beginning to hate Roberts\' Megatron. I can go into a rant of how OOC and weird he is, but it\'s probably all been said many times on here. If leaving Megatron in the functionist universe is how they fix the giant plot hole Roberts has been digging, then I\'m on board with this arc SOLELY because of that. Otherwise it\'s been dragging on, focusing on characters I don\'t give much of a crap about like Rung and Megs.
I used to even be on board with Autobot Megatron; but how it turned out…
It:
1. ruined the potential Overlord vs. Megatron arc in literally two panels
2. ruined the DJD as a whole
3. made Rodimus play second fiddle and actually regress in terms of character development for no good reason other than \"lawl megatron\"
4. SCREAMS \"megatron apologist\"; it\'s like those Starscream fans who claim \"STARSCREAM IS BATTERED HE IS AN ANGEL WHO CANT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTIONS\"
5. Terminus was a mistake.

Dude, I loved Meg so much in that comic book. The only upside to him leaving would be… I love him so much in that comic book, he almost takes all the light.
MightyMegs
Megatron is what's kept me interested. Not sure I'll stick around if they write him out.

Yeah, it's certainly fuel to the speculation that Megs is off. It's a logical narrative move but it does make me sad. Still, Magnus focused issues are usually gems.

Something is weirding me out with that sub. Are there different artists? Definitely two different colouring styles. Like two covers overlaid on top of each other.
Also don't know whether to be happy that Megatron is on a cover past 6 or scared of the whole 'parting of the ways' vibe I'm getting.
As for the RI, is it just me not used to seeing IDW Magnus from the side or is the centerpiece jutting out his head not usually so tall/stretched looking. Never know what to think of the panel-lining rivet style. I certainly like the idea of it but often comes off wrong.
EDIT: Started talking about the two artists things in the Megatron paragraph. Don't know how I managed that.
