They wouldn't be wrong in their thinking.

What has been shown is only 1/3 of the the cover art. So I guess, yeah, you're missing a lot of art for that image.
justiceg
I'm a bit confused…the cover for Lost Light seems full size but there's a mention of it being cropped. Am I missing something key in the "cropped" image?
General Tekno
The Rom vs Transformers book is set 200 years in the past, when all the Spaceknights probably know of Cybertronians is "they're a bunch of crazy robot people who blow each other up and take everything around them with them."
BB Shockwave
Pardon me, but WTF??? Rom fought side by side with Optimus. He very well knows the difference between Autobot and Decepticon… Sounds like his name is fitting, \'cause he can only read his darn memory, not update it.

I don\'t like the constant renumbering of comics every new creative team or story direction. Be proud you lasted 50+ issues in today\'s market and carry on. New readers can catch up with the trades or just move on with the new direction. No once forced readers to buy X-men #1-93 when the new team started in #94. They just carried on with the new stuff.
Nocturne
It's one of the mystery bots who appeared at end of mtmte #46 (he does look a little Tyrest like)
Really loving some of the descriptions here. A flashback issue to the Primes sounds so cool!

Is that WHO I think it is? The head design is reminiscent of
Jalaguy
It's not being interrupted – it's taking deliberate breaks between arcs to avoid swamping Pitre-Durocher, who is still also working part-time at the design agency which does lots of Transformers packaging art and stuff for Hasbro.
Autobot Hound
Another whole month this year with no TAAO, boo. I hope it doesn't keep getting interrupted by other things.
Purple Heart
Is that what I think it is on the issue #9 cover?!?!??

There's pencils through the link as well, I just don't know how to post reasonably sized pictures
The Kup
Well, that's alright. I can't wait for the issue and when the time comes when you can (hopefully) show us the full uncroppped version of your cover.

Sounds like a lot of the Hasbro books are ending and will probably be relaunched once First Strike is over. The only ones that will probably continue original numbering are the TF and GI Joe books. I don't necessarily mind this but it's a minor nuisance when most of the Hasbro books have only just broke ten issues. I was lenient with exRiD and MtMtE considering they both had reached over 55 issues and it felt like post Revolution it was kind of a new status quo. I just hope things are easy to keep track of once First Strike is over.
Also no Till All Are One but given Mairghread Scott is handling First Strike I can see her taking a break from that to focus on coordinating the event.
Novaburnhilde
That Lost Light cover.
Oh shit.
markerguru
If IDW has shown the image this way, then it's for a reason and I won't post a full image for now. Sorry.
The Kup
Aw.
Could you maybe show us the uncropped version of it?
nim
wait, is that not the full cover up there?
markerguru
Looks like my cover for issue 9 of Lost Light has been cropped so it doesn't show off the whole cover. Guess that's one way to reduce anything that might be spoilers
