Although we might debate just how much the above TFs actually "transform" I'd say that was their intent from a design perspective.
SilverOptimus
Matchbox type cars don't transform. The robot mode figure comes separately.
Grimlock just "stands up".
primalxconvoy
What about those matchbox-style cars that transform? They are made by the same company as this Rc one, I believe? The one with Grimlock looking like Zod from the Gobots, which look manually transforming (and cack) to me.
SilverOptimus
You mean 'Licensed'. Yes, they cannot be manually Transformed. That's in the agreement I think. Only Hasbro can make hand transformed Transformers figures unless a specific agreement is made.
primalxconvoy
Am I right in thinking that official third party TF toys can\'t transform, unless they make absolute dogs\' dinners out of them?

The arms aren't nearly as bad as the 2 chests. TTechnically, the front of the car is his chest. But if you scroll down to his (stomach?) It's the Dark of the Moon/The Last Knight chest. So what? He's got 2 chests? If they just made the front of the car the chest and designed below as his abs, I could see this looking alot better.
licensing. Chevy probably wants them to make the car LOOK like the car looks so thry are restricted to panel lines and robot parts. That's the way it was in movie 1 too.
autobotlongarm
This looks really good.
Except for the robot mode

Why is it that the vehicle modes are always 100^45 Times better than the Robot modes? I mean seriously? 2 front ends?
John TheDestroyer
Well uh, maybe the kids will like it?

Read description; appealed my interest. Looked at the figure; automatic rejection from those arms! Those are almost as bad as G1 Ratchet/Ironhide\'s arms!

Nice find! To the front you go! Added descritpiopn and features of the product in the news post.

The new TLK Robot Fighter Bumblebee toy from Simba has been added to Smyths website in the UK. Expected to be released this September.
Not sure if old news. Did a search but couldn't find anything other than some info released at the Nuremberg toy fair back in January.
