Thanks to fellow 2005 boards members Dotmshockwave and tonyformer for letting us know that Paramount Is Re-Releasing Previous Transformers Movies With New The Last Knight Font.
They have new box art for it with the TLK font. It appears they are re-releasing the previous 4 films on June 6th in the new style. All of them are Blu-Ray but for AOE it’s a Blu-Ray plus DVD pack. The boxes feature Optimus Prime for the first movie, Bumblebee for ROTF, Megatron for DOTM and Grimlock (Dinosaur mode) for AOE. They are 13.76 dollars each. They are already up for pre-order at Walmart.com.
A great opportunity if you missed the previous releases, or if you want to update or replace your first discs. You can check the pictures after the jump, and then sound off at the 2005 Boards.

I like the Grimlock picture so i'm down, but why isn't Sentinel on DOTM?!?
Shark
@Uncrazimatic55 Ah HA, I found it! Kinda blurry though
Shark
It was only seen in one TV spot for AoE (one of the ones aimed toward kids, I think?). It was when they were all hiding out in that church, and Tessa gets off the couch all like "hey Bee turn on some music" and she and Bumblebee start dancing, and then it cuts to Hound dancing, Drift bobbing his head, and Crosshairs sitting there looking grumpy lol
Does anybody remember which spot it was?
Uncrazimatic55
Not familiar with that one. Tell me more please.

These new releases are already in-store… I saw all four at the Toys R Us in Yuba City, CA today.
artimus prime
Grimlock gets a cover because…
"Dinosaur! GRRRR!!!"
CKPRIME
That's definitely a conundrum.
Shark
What about the AoE dance scene tho
Uncrazimatic55
Deleted scenes are not going to involve robot scenes. They cost way too much money to animate and then later discard. It would just be moe human footage.
Edwardmus Prime
Grimlock wasn't really in the fourth film much. I can understand why they would plaster him across the cover, but I would have preferred a more indicative cover like one of Lockdown, the new Prime or Hound. The family doesn't really care about new covers anyway, so I probably won't get any of these.
Shizuka
I was wondering the same thing.
TCJJ
Weird. It'd be nice if these are the "perfect" editions with all the special features and IMAX extras, but who really knows? I kinda doubt it.
I always prefer boxsets but it's impossible to know when it's worth buying a boxset these days because movies just keep getting unlimited sequels. Hell, I bought the Rocky boxset several years back, then they made the spin-off sequel and now they're making another Creed movie too. I know my brother bought the DieHard boxset, then they made a fifth one and I believe they're making a sixth one as well.
I get it, sequels, money, established IPs and stuff like that, but trying to get a complete set of definitive versions of movies seems nigh impossible these days. I guess it's better to just buy them individually instead. I'm probably being too OCD about this though but I still haven't bought any of the Transformers films (except for the '86 one, of course).
Though I do find it hilarious that ROTF has such high ratings on Amazon, and AOE has lower ratings. ROTF is barely even a friggin' movie, unless moving pictures count, in which case, yeah, I guess it's technically a movie.
96megatron
I like the number logos.
Optitron98
Because Hound totally isn\'t the main star in AOE. I know why they put Grimlock, but I wish they had Hound or Lockdown in the front.
Heliblade
Art looks great, but I\'ll pass. I take care of my discs.
Terrorsaur128
And if it's anything like the DVD version the artwork under the new slipcover is still the old standard single disc version artwork.
autobotlongarm
What's the point in buying it if the only difference you did to it was change the box cover?
Livingdeaddan
Opps!

We've already had a news article posted about these a few weeks ago.
Our memories aren't that bad, surely?
