Once again ITunes give us a 3 pages of IDW comics. This time we have Revolutionaries #4 ITunes Preview.
This time it seems that Cobra and the Transformers will meet one more time, and some very dangerous characters enter to action.
“Cobra Commander vs. Hearts of Steel! Thousands of years ago, a starship crashed on Earth—and the Hearts of Steel Transformers were born… but how can these steampunk Cybertronians be real?! And what does Cobra Commander want with them, when he hasn’t even got Cobra to back him up? The Revolutionaries have uncovered one of the darkest and most incredible secrets on Earth!”
Revolutionaries #4 Expected Release: May 17, 2017
Thanks to fellow 2005 Boards user Lucas35 for the heads up! You can see the pictures after the jump and sound off at the 2005 Boards.

Hasbro raised the bar IMO when they decided to listen to IDW fans and release back2back Leader class Phase 6ers this year, so the only way to stay par with that bar or even surpass it would be with releasing quality Predacon's, Terrorcons and Dinobots (who aren't just Grimlock) in the POTP line up.
So if featuring the Predacon's in this book is just as much a hint at their upcomming toy debut as it is a legitimate story. I'll take back some of what I originally said about the book.

Cheers for the details.
Predaking's name appears on one of those rumor lists that were floating around some months ago, so there is a chance they might pop up in the future.

It's very different as they have gone to new Earth-based body compared to the previous Cybertronian bodies. In regards to the toys, very unlikely unless Combiner Wars makes an unexpected comeback or Power of the Primes is trying to sell a $120+ boxed set
Verno
How do these Predacon designs compare to when they were last seen in the comics? Have they been changed? Perhaps based on some upcoming toys…?

Iron Klaw is one thing, but I am apopletic with surprise over the fact that they brought in Krieger from the Sgt Savage & The Screaming Eagles pilot. :3

I stopped reading here….
The reality is that I don't like the Revolutionary spinoff books… What part of that can't you seem to comprehend or learn to deal with…? This convo honestly didn't have to go this far.
If the writers allow the Predacon's to live and thrive beyond this book and this arc then I look forward to possibly seeing them in other more traditional IDW, Ongoing, TF, franchises. For the record having humans interact with Transformers is fine, it just becomes and problem when human (like Spike) upstage highly popular Transformers…
To you and those who like these particular books I hope you continue to enjoy them (it doesn't bother me one bit).
And once again enjoy your weekend.

Man, you'd think someone would have noticed if Five giant robot animals went from Asia all the way to…Somewhere in Eastern Europe.
Especially with all the antitransformer rhetoric around the globe.

Nothing I said was silly, you just can't accept reality.
I was bring up the fact that Cons have worked with or for Humans before and seeing the Predacons doing it again shouldn't be so surprising. You're the one who mention Costa and that you hated it.
How am I supposed to know what Costa is doing now, i'm not following his every moment. I would call it a meltdown, but more of him venting his frustration at the fans. I have no problem with Sipke killing Scrapper and I wish more non-TFs killed TFs, becusce they seeming can't do the job themselves, i'm tried of the near death fakeouts in OP, TAOO and especially LL. I see that as some fans being unreasonable, because humans will alway be apart of TF.
That really means nothing, becusce fans should have known the TFs would return to Earth.
How is that supposition when that's literally all they've done since returning to Cybertron? They were prisoners, than the rioted when Megatron returned and that's it, they weren't even part of Combiner Wars. At lest here they'll actually be threatening and fruce the heroes to act smart and fast and not going in guns ablazing like Kup wants to and you forgot Garrison Blackrock is also a TF.
That is another silly reason statement the TF books are filled with bots and there isn't room for Kup G.B. or the Predacons and since this is a shared universe, they shouldn't be all lumped together.
Oh, so i'm the butthurt one? Dude you make me laugh with that. Once again I wasn't trying to changed viewpoint, but you are completely wrong about everything you've posted. Thanks for remind me why I don't interact with the fandom as much as I used too.
Soundwave902
The Predacons are probably the main universe-ones, having been stranded here since the Chinese attack by Galvatron

Talk about silly comments….
You're the one who brought it up. I got over Costa the day the RID and MTMTE's ongoing books released.
Great! Then where the hell has he been since Barber and Roberts took over….? Even Furman came back to do more TF work after "-ation" abruptly ended. I get that you liked his run, not all of it was trash but his meltdown during that final interview didn't help his case. This is the same writer who had Spike singlehandedly kill Scrapper (thus compromising the ability to form Devestator) and you wonder why readers are reluctant to see military and Black Opps types going up against Transformers in Cartoons, IDW or Bay's crap for that matter!
The backlash of Costa was the reason IDW took a break from Earth for like 3 years in the first place!
Ah…more lame supposition! Fine, what other Bot's are in this current book besides Kup? If no one else then I guess they're more likely to have a pointless fight with the Kup and the Joe's and get Killed off then. Muuuuuch better, right?
I read the first 2 from last year and lost interest. Taking the Predacons of the bench to give this book relevance only diminishes the potential of what could've been done in OP, LL or TAAO.
Thanks for sharing the obvious…..And if you don't like my opinion then don't read them or you'll always be a part of "butthurt" since NOTHING you have stated has legitimately changed or corrected my viewpoint.
Enjoy your weekend.

I wasn't asking you to support "Revolutionary books", the Costa run wasn't that bad and people need to get over it already and if these comics go the way of Costa as you say than they'll just get better over time. Okay then what would you have the Predacons doing, having a pointless fight with the Dinobots and get killed off? The Predacons were doing nothing on Cybertron. Did you even read Revolution?, the TFs out powered the Humans, Dire Wraiths and Rom in every issues so there wasn't any "negate their true abilities more than expose them" and humans have been and always well be apart of TFs, if you don't want humans at all than just read LL and TAOO.
SparkPlug24
That miniseries didn't, and until the full context of their appearance is revealed I'm choosing to believe that these are the main IDW continuity Predacons, who I think we haven't seen since their collaboration with Korea.
But it's not hard for me to imagine some era-appropriate alt-modes for the Predacons: engines with animal motif embellishments, along the lines of the "Insecti-train." Imagine Thomas the Tank Engine but with a snarling, fire-breathing lion face.
YoungPrime
I don't nor do I support these lame Revolutionary books, most of which will end up like Costa. Especially when they take highly anticipated Combiners and shoehorn them in books about humans that will negate their true abilities more than expose them.
Verno
Really enjoying the art style here!
And of course… PREDACONS!
Megastar
That a silly complaint. I actually like the idea of TF groups working for Earth governments or with organizations.
YoungPrime
Pfft, because you're bringing up an arc from the equally forgettable Costa era.
Megastar
The Predacons have worked with humans before.
So how is this a let down?
YoungPrime
Predacons finally debueing post Combiner Wars only to be teaming up with humans seems beneath them.
Not to mention a total let down.
RazorclawX
I already love this iteration of Iron Klaw.
Omegashark18
Finally!
The art looks better then ever!
And the villains are becoming more and more formidable with each issue.
Bring on IDW Predaking!
