Neat idea , but I in no way would purchase MONSTRUCTOR / DINOKING any smaller than they were in G1 , and that was small enough for a gestalt for me . But to each his own .
SG Roadbuster
legion toys typically exist as "poor people" options for people who probably cant afford 15-20 dollar deluxes to get their favorite characters.
The Cyberverse vehicles/playsets didnt really sell very well, probably why we havent seen them since Beast hunters.
i'd be down for 18 months of generations micromasters, They'd fit the pricepoints perfectly.
Assuming each Micromaster would be equivilant mass to a titanmaster + vehicle. The titanmaster/legion pricepoint can be filled with single pack micros. That budget easily doubles for Legends class which would be perfect for the 2 in 1 combiners like Oiler and Slide.
That then doubles into the 4 bot patrols for the deluxe range..
Add 10 bucks and we have voyagers. 6 bot teams. Perfect for the 6team combiners like Sixbuilder, Sixliner, and Monstructor/Dinoking for shits and/or giggles. Voyager would also be an ideal pricepoint for bases.
Leader class would remain the standard big dudes. And since we're in the Micro era, Dai Atlas, Star Convoy, Super Megatron, and Violen Jiger would the likely candidates. Each including a micromaster partner. Titan class would obviously be Grandus.

I`m fully aware of what he was referring to , When I think of micro play sets I sum up the G1 , BW as well as cyberverse in to a category . I was simply referring to the ply set I most appreciated . Sorry for the confusion

I think Mr Nevermore is referring to the more modern Cyberverse line, sold during DOTM, Prime & Beast Hunter which did vehicles/playsets with Legions and Commanders

Orcanoch and Arachnid were Microverse

Can\'t wait for Soundwave and Cyclonus

This is true . Orcanok was one of my favorite play set type deals …It seems every now and then Hasbro likes to compete with Hotwheels ect …… I`d be game for a G1 esq MicroMasters Transformers play set . I like to see old ideas reinvented , This would be a good one .

Remember Cyberverse?

Eh, why you ask? I'm guessing "Heatseeker" is more of a Jet name is what you're saying? Well i think "Heatseeker" implies he's equiped with some sort of missile-related weapons system. I mean, his head has a Demolishor-Esque Visor for crying out loud.

What's the point of these Legion toys? Cheapest option, so easier to sell? Because the low price point also points to a likely low profit margin…
It'd be nice if Hasbro sold some play sets to go with these (not Generations Titans or TR!).
Maybe a Hot Wheels style play set with a couple of edifices that flip change into something else (cheapest option), or something more elaborate.
Remember Micromasters?
EDIT: I know everyone expects Pretenders to be the next stage of the Generations Titan trilogy, but it'd be pretty funny if it ended up being small Micromasters!

+2 –^ The Warrior Class figures from RID are where it's at. Everything else is basically a tub toy.

Given that Heatseeker's one of RID's Stunticons, could we be seeing another BH Abominus-style Legion Combiner? Or am I reading waaaaaaaaay too much into this?
also it's been said before but holy hell heatseeker is a weird name for a car guy

I`m really looking forward to seeing Cyclonus , as well as GALVATRONUS . Looks very neat .
MrSoundmeister
I like how High-test looks ALOT like armada black-out.

Going off Baltmatrix's review, I think the Activator Strongarm would be fun… If it was ten dollars. No way are they worth retail.
But it's still pretty cool seeing Strongarm as a lifted pickup.
SpectrumBelle
I have Activator Bumblebee. It's… probably what you're expecting, TBH. Basically unposable, very simple. The Mini-Con gimmick is fun but not enough to justify the pricepoint.
They definitely reuse engineering, not sure if they're straight-up using the same parts.
T-Hybrid
Heatseeker's art makes him look like a Ratchet/Strongarm re-use but his mold doesn't seem to be…
Soundwinder
Laserbeak looks neat. How's that Activator-class? I haven't seen any reviews on them.
