Thanks to Autobotsgeneral on Twitter we have a new high resolution screencap of Megatron in “The Last Knight”. So far we get a very nice look of Megatron’s new design while he seems to be on a meeting with a group of humans.
You can click on the bar and see the picture after the jump and share your thoughts and guesses about the reason of this meeting and the identity of the humans at the 2005 Boards.

look i respect that you like this version of megatron. i do aswell altough he was weak sauce in dotm. atleast in rotf he killed prime.
but opinions are not fact and may be different from yours.
have some energon resupply in your spark. you kinda need it.
Doug
That is a interesting pic of Megatron talking to humans.

OK, I fear I may derail the thread asking this, but I'm genuinely curious. Exactly what relevance do you think Megatron holds to TF1 and ROTF? What did he do that they couldn't simply have had Starscream do? Also, what was his personality in those movies? What made him distinct from the Fallen?

That's odd I don't recall mentioning anything about Bay at all everything I said was about Megatron's character arc not Bay. So how can my comment be a verbal fellatio about Bay if I never even remotely mention him, hm haters logic I suppose, everything must be about Bay even if his name isn't even mentioned, insane logic really. It's a puzzler to be sure, understanding how anything I said translated to Bay. I suppose that's the logic of haters everything has to reflect back to Bay even if the comment has nothing to do with him.
I must admit this is not very logical or rational and a bit of a dead end since it won't often relate to the topic at hand but if that's your logic I suppose I could try to match it. "Bay is great he does everything amazing he's the greatest director ever and people are blind for not seeing it!". Sorry not feeling it just seems too irrational and illogical and it doesn't seem like it will lead to any actual conversations with progress. I think I'll just stick to whatever the person is saying and just respond to that.
Next time make certain your comment actually makes sense in sequence with what I said, bringing up Bay when I never mentioned him or was even referring to him doesn't reflect very well on you.
STARBLAST
And yet he's still one of the worst movie villains of all time. Go figure
(don't bother responding btw I'm not going to indulge in your 10 page insanity of how movie Megatron is totally good and Michel Bay is the second coming of Christ.)
Lord Tron
Yeah that sounds really intriguing to watch I can't wait until we get your idea of a good TF movie and your idea of a proper Megatron. It's a very good thing Michael Bay doesn't actually listen to any of you because there's no way you could keep a character relevant for three movies yet alone five or more. Do you consider the reason behind anything like say the ongoing character arc of Megatron. Megatron is still around because the movies keep finding unique ways to use him and new elements to add to his story that further explore his character.
Megatron has been all around the spectrum his character has been through an in depth arc that explore many factors of him. The Fallen gives him someone he genuinely admires and respects adding a layer of humanity to him. We also see his relationship with Starscream and how he abuses him for his failures. We see his determination and drive in the first. In Dark we see how he values his home and we also see how his state affects his pride even having it used against him. In Age we see his truly cunning and intelligent side and how he learned from most of his mistakes. In TLK it seems we'll see him question his past choices and work with his enemies to redeem his past failures.
Movie Megatron has been used in a variety of different ways this is only because he wasn't always a BA. Compare where animated took Megatron as a character or Prime both the BA you want yet their characters went nowhere. Movie Megatron has gone through his awakening, death, rebirth, fall from grace, rise from the ashes and likely soon attempts at redemption for his past failures. Who cares if he isn't always a BA, who cares if he's been subservient to others this is a Megatron whose been on a character journey worth watching.

Ouch
12357 Prime
I hope so. Welker's VO alone would be worth the screentime.
John TheDestroyer
With his new look and Welker voicing, I feel like we're definitely gonna get that.
12357 Prime
Perhaps Inshould just emphasize the last part of my comment. Just gimme a 'bad-ass' Megatron.
John TheDestroyer
I dunno. Doesn't feel like that to me.
Rumblestorm
Humans aren't Fallen and Sentinel.
If Megatron deems working with humans is necessary, then so be it. No sacrifice, no victory.
12357 Prime
To The Fallen and Sentinel. I don't want it again. It has that feel.
John TheDestroyer
Working with ≠ subservient
12357 Prime
Megatron working with humans now? Please no. I'm tired of seeing a subservient Megatron. Is it too much to ask for a movie with Megatron being the baddest SOB in the universe and Prime doing everything he can to stop him? More please!
Ephland
Nowhere near as smart as you thought you were being.
NOCV
All hail Welker!

Perhaps, still it does fit, as many scenes show. Optimus being brought back to Nest base dangling from cables, Megatron being dropped into the ocean while dangling from cables. Megatron meeting with the Fallen on the Nemesis showing sorrow over his failure to retrieve the Allspark, optimus talking with Sentinel showing regret over his failure to win the war. Megatron reacting in horror at the fallen's death; optimus reacting in horror at Sentinel's betrayal. Megatron slouching on a wall before Carly talks to him; Optimus slouched against a wall before Cade talks to him.
I didn't discover this or really anything I state my first time through it took many rewatches. Originally I didn't realize that Megatron's question to Optimus was explored who is he without him, he's the same as Megatron. Hunted by humans, seeking revenge and no longer having the same values; without Megatron he has no threat to protect humanity from. Galvatron's small physical role makes sense we're seeing who optimus is without Megatron and it isn't pretty, for this to work Galvatron needs minimum presence to show how optimus becomes the enemy without him and only through him does he become the hero again.
Megatron's quick death in Dark really bothered me at first but now it doesn't. Dark wasn't about optimus and Megatron the conflict was between optimus and Sentinel. We didn't build to an optimus and Megatron fight, a long brawl between them after climaxing the main conflict would feel tact on, it doesn't actually fit DOTM. Megatron dying quickly also fits the meaning of his arc he was weak and needed to swallow his pride but couldn't and for his foolishness he dies. It took a long time for me to accept this but ultimately I did.
This took time and it required looking beyond a lot of my personal preferences but over time and multiple rewatches and analysis I managed to discovered all this.
