Ok just noticed MMC Whirl. That sounds really Midwest. There's a turben in my bourbon.

I wanted to say I appreciate the discussion about the RID2015 toys. I feel like they have gotten overlooked by the fandom unfortunately but there have been some great toys out of the line, especially the Decepticons and their interesting designs/transformations. Soundwave and Blurr are solid deluxes (Blurr is luscious with his paint work even if his transformation is simple and I love that I finally have a Rescue Bot deluxe figure) even if Soundwave isn't very inspired.
At the moment my headcanon is that Prime Soundwave had to split his spark to get out of the Shadowzone and inhabits both the truck and Predator Drone bodies at the same time. It helps that his truck mode can hold his drone mode on its roof in a very stable way.
I know the podcast crew aren't hopeful for good Combiner Force combiners but I'm waiting for Takara to completely reshell Onslaught and the Stunticon limbs from Unite Warriors as a Transformers Adventure Box set. Fingers crossed!

No it's the Steam Railroading Institute In Owosso, MI. Ask your dad if he's ever heard of the Pere Marquette 1225.
Seth Buzzard
My dad would be hella jelly, he's obsessed with trains. You aren't at the museum in Sacramento are you?

View attachment 27712378 I have to wear overalls when I'm doing volunteer work at a railroad museam.
I'm on the left.

From what I've seen of it. It veers more towards the childish side of thing. Kinda like the unicron trilogy tf series. And also tends to be very monster of the weekish.
And yeah, it does seem that each show can be watched independantly. Though I could be wrong and won't be opposed to someone more knowlegable correcting me.

I've heard a lot about Brave but never watched any of it. Is it like Transformers/Gundam where I can pick a series and watch it independently of the others? Do I just watch GaoGaiGar even though that is the last series (it seems to be everyone's favorite). I kind of want that Soul of Chogokin GaoGaiGar but have held off since I don't have any attachment to the character.
SG Roadbuster
On the subject of Brave toys, I'm right there with Headmaster Don. In fact my digibash thread (link in my signature) has a few ideas that I've already cooked up. Some better than others.
Since Brave isn't gonna happen via official takara channels anytime soon, I wonder/hope that one of the numerous 3rd party companies could maybe pull themselves away from making the 17th wannabe mastepiece Springer, and give Brave some love.

Oh man, your Jim Cummings analysis was so on point it hurt! Every single thing everyone said from the moment Vangelus uttered Bump in the Night had me in stiches.

Yes Aaron,
Use your creative feelings. Let the urge flow through you. Your fandom is swelling in you now, use it.
AlanGarou
You don't have to cosplay if you don't want to, Aaron. Use your better judgement.
excelhedge
Seriously what's with the random Bump in the Night reference.
Seriously what do you mean someone actually remembers that show?
SG Roadbuster
wait…….Bump in the Night was an actual show? that other people remember? I only remember it as a blurry fever dream……

It might have to do with how much of a fan you are of the aesthetic, with how busy it can be for me I have some trouble differentiating between mold differences just because I'm not really paying too much attention to the details. At first glance I could see thinking Berserker was a reuse of the deluxe Dread mold, but now that I look closer I see the differences.
Pandacron
I'm completely unsurprised by how even as a toddler Vangelus preferred things that go lock with clicks and wanted more things that click lock.

Cade likes to drive the prime a lot… Doot doot doo doo doot doo doo doot doo doo.
Turbine, that's weird.

This podcast was so lit it burnt down my house
Prime135
I am legitimately astounded people are having so much trouble differentiating movie molds. Optibotimus even thought berserker was a repaint IN HAND! The differences couldn't be clearer to me, even with many molds lacking in the paint department…am I just odd?
Also, MP-36 is only $20 USD more expensive than the original release of MP-10…
Aaaaaand BTW, technically we can't tell what's going to be on the truck until it's at the dock…buuuut, there are ways to see what will LIKELY be on it…and yeah I know it's a bad way to run a business I ain't in charge of that stuff
