Thanks to Prime1 Studio we have a full look at their upcoming Transformers Dark of the Moon Shockwave statue. As with all of Prime1’s stuff, it’s gigantic, awesome looking, and expensive. It features Shockwave as he looks in the movieverse standing on a base with robo tentacles coming out from behind. Check the details below and 30+ images after the break!

Same here. I do like the design and had it under consideration for quite some time, but yeah, that's a lot of better-spent money.

They finally did it, they finally made a Shockwave I won't buy. I have the other statues/busts they've released, but $2,700? Just, no. And to be clear I have the money – I just keep thinking about what else I could buy with that money, like a G1 Black Shadow, or a full set of G1 Liokaiser, heck, I could buy both for that price. Plus my wife said if I am buying this, she is definitely buying Unicron – and then we'd have a competition for space.
BIOMEC
To me, the best looking version of the character is the one that appears on DOTM.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!

I'd get them all if l could.
I'm sure many could save up and be able to afford these. But space is the biggest issue.
I own a 4 bedroom house and still think these are simply too big.

As apparently the only statue collector here, yes there is indeed a market for this. If you can't save the money for this in over a year then that's on you. On a side note, if they don't make a Barricade I will flip. Also, everyone who says "I wish", just get the Ratchet or Jazz they're like $1200, and after that just save and save and maybe you can pick it up after release.
Raiju
Most likely not your average TF fan. But the fact that these statues get made at all does lead me to believe that there is indeed a market for them.
Seth Sunthay
Did he even had in what to transforms?
Seth Sunthay
A good tacos.
NGW
I mean, it looks good but $2700 buys a LOT of tacos.
Chaos Muffin
Poor Shockwave, never got to transform.
Keldroc
Who in the world would devote that much space in their house and $2700 hard-earned dollars to that version of the character? I feel like even Michael Bay would get a free copy and be like "…yeah, put it in the garage or something."
Moy
Red Goblin
I would TOTALLY buy it…
if it didn't cost as much as my rent for an entire year.
Novaburnhilde
So beautiful.
Raiju
Alrighty then. I'm glad we cleared that up.
TF3D
(MÚSIC PRIME !!) Neither you! I doubt you have the money to buy? Put here your transformers studio for sure you must be some bankrupt retailer.
Omega Charge
Man, if Shockwave had been more standout in DOTM, I would seriously consider putting together a savings plan for this thing. Glorious.
Raiju
In an alternate dimension perhaps I won the lottery and was able to afford this beautiful work of art.
Why make Ferraris or Lambos?
Music
These statues don't go on store shelves…
And you're obviously not the target audience here.
