HeyUGuys received the pleasure to interview some of the cast from Transformers: The Last Knight.
Isabela Moner who plays the role of Izabella stated that 4th Wall Breaking on the KCA 2017 Trailer was just for the trailer only. The ‘Fight Like A Girl‘ trailer was initially planned to be directed by another director but Michael Bay loved the concept and has jumped right in.
Laura Haddock who plays Vivian Wembley explained how much effort the director put into the movie.
Finally, Jerrod Carmichael who plays Desi stated that he was excited to see the gigantic sets as well as how his character fits into the movie.
Check out the interviews, after the jump.

I'm more curious to find out if the silver B-17 Flying Fortress that Cogman escorts Cade to, to fly to England might also be a TF. I hope it is!! If so, I'll love for it to be AirRaid!
CKPRIME
It happens.
tonyformer
You are right lol. I was thinking of Abrams of which it was named after from the late 60s in the Vietnam War.
CKPRIME
1980
tonyformer
Yeah and the first Abrams entered service in the 1960s.
CKPRIME
It's a modern tank too, not a WWI tank.
tonyformer
Abrams is a US tank bud

Idk, I strongly believe the guys here at TFW would know who Tucci is and if he was playing Merlin. Besides, rumor is that Vivian is supposed to be the descendent of Merlin. And the guy shown in robes on horseback that looked to be Merlin, looked nothing like Tucci.

Kind of reminds me of how once Mark Wahlburg was interviewed after filming wrapped up and he mentioned that as soon as filming was over, his son begged him to cut his hair because he hated that he had to keep it long for the movie.
Wolf
I'll be honest, if tucci IS merlin, I don't care it'll be part of the plot anyway if he's not then these people have been thrown a red herring by Bay, possibly as a F**k you for all their slanderous comments over the years, I'd like to think the genuine fans were shown some great stuff, and the others just left over footage.
I don't care if he plays merlin, it's gotta be for a reason right!? So i Could see it as a rebirth prophecy of sorts….merlins decendant tucci and Cade being Arthur's descendant inevitably linking up. It's history repeating itself etc (quintessons ….Optimus /ksi….megatron =same thing) I am just gonna sit in my seat and enjoy the ride!! I want to be entertained and feel my money has been well spent and considering I believe we are all witnessing the birth of something genuinely NEW in the franchise I'm happy to just love it warts and all!! Critics kiss my sweet a$$

Guys, I swear if no one leaks the footage I'll be very angry, andView attachment 27700764

I am not sure. I would hope the Fan Event one though.
Since TFW2005 visited that event, I wonder if there was any confirmation that the WW I Mark Abrams tank Transformer was indeed called
tonyformer
I'm sure there were BUT I don't understand how 2 different versions could have 2 different Merlins? Or does someone not even know what Tucci looks like?
SilverOptimus
From what I heard, Fans were treated to extra 5 or 10 minutes of footage than CinemaCon. I'm wondering which edition will be shown on 4th of April.
tonyformer
Agreed.
Galvatross
Yeah, I definitely believe the Transformers fans who met with Bay on this one. It sounds like the people who visited Cinemacon have no idea what they are talking about at all, and it also sounds like less stuff was shown to them. For instance, there was no indication the Cinemacon people saw the footage of
tonyformer
Well the guys here at TFW actually have pics with Bay from the event and locations so I'm inclined to believe them lol. This guy in the pod cast interview didn't seem like he knew much of what he was talking about for being someone "at the event"?
Galvatross
Yeah, I am not sure what is going on. Then again, initial reports from Cinemacon suggested that Sophia Myles was playing a fourteen year old, so I kind of wonder if there's a lot of dyslexia going on.
The interview that stood out to me was Laura Haddock's. I really like how she said Bay really wants people to emphasize with the Transformers. That is probably what stood out more to me than the Izabella "controversy." THAT is my favorite aspect of Transformers fiction however cheesy it can be. It's not the wars, not the transformations or disguises, and not the designs, however much I may love all of those. It's understanding the thoughts and feelings and viewpoints of the robots that I like best of all, which is why I love characters like Movie .
While I had no problem with the Izabella trailer or Izabella's character so far, I still find it laughable that people got so worked up over it. If you're not excited for a character there's nothing wrong with that, but the amount of anger and nerdrage over it, as well as the hypocrisy, was insane. "I don't like how Bay has treated female characters in the past, so I'm going to get mad that they're trying to make a female character that's different from what's been done before. Also, kids shouldn't be in a movie that's part of a brand meant to appeal to kids, so I'm going to get mad at the existence of a major character who's a kid even though most parts of the brand feature kids." There's a huge amount of people who seem to have no idea why the brand exists or have a clue as to its history yet act as if a series of financially successful movies is ruining the brand. The delusion is unreal.
tonyformer
Yeah so now multiple people have seen this but Tucci is or isn't Merlin ?
CKPRIME
Which is weird, because one of our own who was at CinemaCon had this to say:
