Ozformers site-owner and 2005 Boards member griffin-of-oz is sharing with us his collection of photos taken during the 1st Day of Australian Toy Fair 2017.
Hasbro’s official booth situated at the fair is featuring Transformers toys of:
- Transformers: The Last Knight
- Transformers: Generations – Titans Return
- Transformers: Robots In Disguise – Season 3: Combiner Force
Among the images, there are several toys which are new.
We are also treated to our first look at Simba Dickie Transformers: The Last Knight 24cm R/C Bumblebee and 40cm R/C Bumblebee. Additionally, TLK licensed Skateboards, Party Supplies and small Busts are also on display.
RID line also consists of such licensed products.
Hauck’s Generations Bumblebee Go-kart has made its appearance during this event as well.
Furthermore, promotional images for Transformers 5 are also on display inside the booth.
You can check out the full album on the thread associated with this news post. Check out more info at Ozformers.
Purple Heart
It looks like it escaped right to the inside Bombshell's stomach.

Now if only we could get sureshot…
Windsweeper II
They look Epic!
Shin Densetsu
Triggerhappy stood out as one of the best deluxes I've handled from TR so Misfire and Slugslinger as retools is a pleasant surprise for me. Can't wait!
Smitty.1981
I bet (hope) the stickers on Misfire and Slugslinger are because they are not the final product and just for show.

But his prominent, almost puffy lips are a little off putting to me. I suppose I could go for a 3d-printed face when I get him, or I could just put up with the nitpicks. Really, even tiny Flywheels was not a dealbreaker; I'm putting together a team of Scavengers!

Getaway. Who obviously didn't…

Who is that all-white Autobot the Insecticons are eating?
Smitty.1981
Missfire and Slugslinger are nicely done the only parts it looks like they share with Triggerhappy are the legs and maybe that part that rotates for transformation. I may have to pick them up.
Thundershot
Those pics make it obvious that Slugslinger, at least, has stickers without a doubt. Misfire looks like tampos. It could be because Sluggy is hand painted though…

Best pics I've seen of them. Love Slugslinger's facesculpt and Misfire's bright pink helmet(!) actually looks pretty good when you've got a clear shot of it.

Yes a lot of the figures on that table were repainted customs by fans from Melbourne.
The G1 toys next to the TR Figures were brought to the fair by fans too.
And here's some close-ups of Slugslinger and Misfire. Misfire is cast in the correct color plastic but Slugslinger is all hand painted.
f-primusunicron
right now i dont know, i will mostly get tlk figures
also i see a purple megatron with the arms micron scorpion
also, a compeltely white prime rid arcee
so they are going to release some repaints , sounds good but thats all i can see, they could be barely repaints and only 2, 3 colored plastics, given how much hasbro hates painting their figures nowadays

Dragonstorm and Steelbane are Autobots. Dear God, TWO AUTOBOT DRAGONS!!!! I wonder if they will both be like a duo against thousands of Predacons or something. I think RiD Twinferno is the only character I'll call Twinferno while Titans Return will stay as Doublecross for me. Also, I like how Blastwave and Bludgeon have different pictures of the characters even though they're the same mold. I'm curious to see IF Blastwave and Bludgeon will have some kind of impact to Combiner Force. I also hope to see Stormshot, Skyhammer, and Blurr soon. I'm pleased with what I see though and I'm glad this happened after Slugslinger and Misfire were revealed. Only crossing my fingers now that Pointblank, Crosshairs, and Sureshot come before the end of Titans Return.

That Trypticon..

Taking into account that TM Tryps is bent a bit at the knees & leaning forward, he'll be a bit taller overall than he looks there once he's straightened up. Using my G1 Tryps & the giant Godzilla from the US movie a couple of years ago (that you can still find at TRU), it looks like TM Tryps should be just about the same height as that Godzilla figure. So that's a pretty good guess as to the final height (and most likely width) approximation. Just the right size to battle Metroplex.

I believe that the G1 toys (and Gigastorm) were brought by local (Hasbro-invited) fans to the event, not by Hasbro themselves.

Looking good!

The colors still won't quite match. I'm holding off until they re-release all three, preferably packaged as a set, with a consistent color scheme.
