As you may know, the cast of Transformers: The Last Knight had a wonderful time visiting the Hasbro Transformers booth at Toy Fair 2017. While there, they did not forget to talk with the press who arrived to meet the celebrities which included Director Michael Bay, Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Actors Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel as well as the leading ladies Laura Haddock and Isabela Moner.
During their visit, a selected audience got to witness 55 minutes of finished footage from Transformers 5.
Mr. Duhamel stated “They really get into the mythology of where the transformers came from, how long they’ve been around and how instrumental they were in a lot of historical events. It’s based on a true story.”
Regarding the filming the actor stated “What we just saw is about 55 minutes of it and it’s pretty spectacular. It really is. [Michael Bay] just blows me away. His ability to understand the scope of things is incredible. I’m very proud of what we did last summer.” He concluded that his son is too young to see the new movie.
Mark Wahlberg also explained about injuries he got while filming the movie. “It’s a very different journey. A lot of stuff about the origin of Transformers and their history. When I [bring toys home] I’m a cool dad.”
Speaking of toys, Director Michael Bay posted an Instagram photo (pictured) while on his way back home stating that he bought an Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet for himself.
Check out the interviews, after the jump.

The movies and all related merchandising are cash grabs with ugly character designs, horrible plots, and cheap chit toys. AoE was the last straw. Now people have to suffer through this garbage.

The comment Mark made about his kids is so damn adorable.
Looks like they had a good time.

"It's based on a true story." Perhaps Cybertron does really exist now since we now have discovered 7 new planets. One of them could be made out of metal. You never know.

Could someone share some details from the 55 minute footage?

It's funny, my very first thought when I saw Isabela Moner was, "LoL, she looks like a tiny little pixie or something". And then I remembered her hair is what's called a pixie cut, haha. Hairdo = doing its job.
**EDIT** Why are my sentences turning into a giant Twitter link?

The term is "disabled", not "handicapped" these days, Monsieur…
primalxconvoy
I'd say it was better than most film-verse stuff, at least the stuff actually in the films. Some of the tertiary figures have been good, though.
primalxconvoy
Although, we can buy pretty good Gundam action figures, which don't need assembly…

At least Isabella Moner looks like she's having fun with remote controlled Sqweeks. She's arguably the closest in age to the target demographic for these toys. And kudos to her for donating her hair to cancer patients! She kinda reminds me of the actress who plays Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, especially in the photos of her with Laura Haddock (who reminds me of the actress who plays Sansa Stark).

I know this is a bit to promote the movie and toys but, I dunno something about this seems pretty cool to me.
