2005 Boards user Smitty.1981 has shared a picture of Titans Return Voyager Optimus Prime and Megatron which has been found at the Wal-Mart on Quanah Parker Trailway.
These figures have been available online for a while, but it seems they are finally showing up at stores.
Let the hunt begin and don’t forget to check the pictures on the boards after the jump.

Yes, there are 5mm ports on either side of his head.

Found both in 2 South Texas Walmarts. Meg's is the winner. Couldn't justify the Optimus. Maybe as Octane… or Scourge for sure.

I'm definitely waiting for Blitzwing and Octane from these molds, but I would be painfully tempted if Takara released Megatron with some actual paint. I actually think this toy makes an excellent Megatron. Thankfully, Hasbro gave us an unpainted grey prototype to test the concept on.
Shin Densetsu
Wait does the gun actually peg into Megatron's torso?

Just saw the pair at the Lawrence road Walmart.

So after a day of messing with Optimus and Megs I have some thoughts.
Megatron: He's the clear winner on this wave's voyagers. The stickers and the drab shade of gray are a bit of a let down but he more than makes up for it with just how well this Blitzwing pre-tool works for Megatron. Is he a must have for collectors? not really, not if you're happy with CW Megatron, but if you're like me and did not want something so big and were not a fan of CW Megs' wonky shoulders then this is a good replacement for what ever Megatron is on you Classics shelf, and a definite step up.
Optimus Prime: Where to start. G2 "Laser" Optimus Prime was with out a doubt the best Optimus Prime toy for a good 5 years. and this toy tries to homage that with some success. It is, after all, an Octane pre-tool so it's got a bit more to do than it's 1995 counterpart. Sadly I think it's weaknesses out number it's strengths. Out of the bot it needed two modifications, the chest hinge needed to be trimmed and the tabs that do nothing on the underside of the wings needed to be cut off to allow his truck mode to fit together. While I thing he looks good in most modes his robot mode is so cluttered that can be a paint to pose his arms. Now for the Shuffler in the room, the "jet" mode, it's not pretty, but it's got a cockpit, wings and a tail section, and that is enough to make it fun, it's not the most swooshible Titans Return jet but it's not with out it's charm.

Dammit. Now I have to get that Titans Return Megs. Only liking his imposing bot and plane modes. The Tank not so much…lol
Smitty.1981
While you're not wrong lately Takara has been keeping to G1 cartoon stuff with the main line stuff. The "obscure" stuff has been done as exclusives.
Anyway, some shots of Megatron…
Not the most flattering view of the tank mode.
G2 style…

@Lumpy Can you please edit this post again to include the state that these two voyagers were found in as well? The street means nothing to us not from near there, but Oklahoma would help clarify a lot Thanks!

Any word on Sixshot yet?
Also, I will be looking out for these guys….

For Takara, it probably depends on how much remolding there is between the Optimus/Megs figures and Octane/Blitzwing. I could see them doing Optimus in his G2 "Laser" colors (with orange sword like RtS deluxe Optimus), since that is the origin of this design (and Hasbro went G1 colors) on it. SLIM chance they do Laser Ultra Magnus or Toxitron, or even "Combat Hero" Optimus (dark blue) like the one in that Ultimate Battle (or whatever Hasbro called it) set. Black Convoy/RiD2001 Scourge/Nemesis Prime has a shot of coming from either company, but I hope Hasbro does an affordable version.
With Megatron, there are four G2 color schemes (I'm counting the unreleased green/grey Combat Hero and black Dreadwing incarnations), so there are options. And Takara doesn't shy away from obscure, Bat Primal is proof of that.

I\'ll wait for the REAL characters these molds represent. These are an easy PASS! Especially with that 25$ price tag.

Glad to help.

Then who was the first sighting?

I also live in Oklahoma – as soon as I read this, I drove to the Walmart down my street. Sure enough, Prime and Megs were sitting on the shelf. Thanks for the heads up!
Diecast G2
I asked a Walmart employee to scan the price tag for me to see if any were on order. Seems these items aren't coming from the regional warehouse and have a 3 week eta after order, at least to my local store.
Which lines up with stores didn't place their orders until after they did the reset in early January. So, the first ones to show up at walmart retail are probably at stores that got their resets done sooner.
Smitty.1981
I think for some Optimus is passible as he's based on a G2 design, but if you are looking for a good Megatron at this size you should get this one.
Megasquared
I saw these today at Walmart and passed on them both. I don't need yet another Optimus and Megatron.
btskillet
Yeah mine still in preordered status still but I know Va won't get them untill probably the end of march
Lumpy
The Chosen Prime got them at the end of October, a few people got them from them at that time… I waited to order mine, so I don't have them yet… but hopefully they get these 2 and Sixshot this week too.
Should be changed soon.
