For fans who may have missed out back in the day, Bigbadtoystore.com has added a new preorder for a reissue wave of the 2010 Reveal The Shield Legends figures. The set includes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Starscream. While these figures have been released several times before, this will hopefully mean that future releases may include some of the harder to find Legion figures. You can grab the assortment for $12.99 on BBTS and the figures are scheduled for early February.

The Bumblebee tooling is even older, it originated with the 2008 Universe line.
WishfulThinking
I think the new EVERGREEN figures from the other threads are replacing these. Considering the RTS figures are, what, 5 or 6 years old now? Probably good to have a refresher for your "BIG 4" characters.
BatLantern
My closest Dollar General restocked Starscream, Optimus and Bumble Bee. I have not seen any buzz on these regarding a re-release of variations (Ultra Magnus, etc.).. so I circled back to this thread and sadly found that my post was the last post.
BatLantern
I wonder how these are selling this go round… I still have hopes we get Ultra Magnus & Skywarp again.

I just realized there is a change to the 2017 reissues: The call-out for the non-existing "Reveal the Shield" rubsign gimmick is no longer there.

That makes more sense. Just talking recently about those running changes made to Prowl and Dinobot in BW had me interpreting it as a blue Starscream.

You're misinterpreting what the Wiki says.
GDO Thundercracker introduced the weapon accessories and the retooled hands and wings with 3mm peg holes.
Around the same time, there was a Dollar store release of Starscream, which then saw a running change to include the weapons, hands and wings created for Thundercracker.

Again, I was just referencing the wiki.

There were Dollar store re-releases of Starscream, and there was a Dollar store release of Skywarp, but the only single release of Thundercracker was GDO.

No, @Nevermore is right, it was twice. I was thinking he was in the yellow card waves, but he wasn't.

Don't ever believe anything that Entertainment Earth tells you without confirmation from a more reputable party, whether it's a retailer that has their act together or a random bum with dementia. And watch your credit card; just because you weren't the initiator doesn't mean they won't try to levy a "restocking" fee.

GDO, Dollar store re-release, and then multipack
Just going by the wiki.

Three times?

When was the third?

Thanks for the tip, ill keep watching.

Thundercracker was not part of this series, but he was released three times (compared to Skywarp's once) in the US. He should still be fairly inexpensive.
BatLantern
Mostly Thundercracker. Skywarp too, but he has shown up for more reasonable prices on ebay from time to time.

I've listed mine several times at just over retail and no one has ever bought. Which figures are you looking for?
Diecast G2
I bought Starscream at Dollar General today. They had new stock up on the top shelf, no peg for them yet.
It was 5 bucks instead of 4 though.
Starscream is a pretty neat figure. I never saw him during the last run of these guys, so I was pleasantly surprised by his transformation being a little different.
