Looks like those Transformers:The Last Knight toys may be hitting shelves a bit earlier than expected. Thanks to 2005 Boards members quantumhawk and Ikkstakk we have word that price tags for Transformers Movie 5 Voyagers are present on the shelves after a recent Target isle reset. The DPCI number is 087-06-7326 and the price is 29.99 for the Voyager class figures. No deluxes or other size classes are present so it’s possible this is a reserved space for the Premier Edition Voyager Optimus Prime figure teased by Hasbro a bit ago.

UK is getting the TF5 toys on April. Expect the same elsewhere as well.

They do 8 so stores can have two pegs of four toys. The pegs are a standard size.

I do not care for any movie toy TF1 to TF5………….
Now if stores would get off their asses, restock and do there resets from Christmas maybe I could find some new goddamned deluxes near me….
So if stock TF5 shit does that I am all for it.
Lazerwave
It's bothering me there is no release date confirmed, while they have all the tags at stores now.

I wonder if Hasbro has ever seriously considered making bigger cases (for movie waves) with a larger selection of figures? AOE had about 3 waves didn't it? If they'd jammed those into 2 bigger waves it might have worked out better. Everybody orders way to much at the front of the first (and in some cases 2nd wave) then the bottle neck occurs. If they had just about everything out they wanted to have out it might go better.
There's probably one or more reasons I don't see for why this would be a bad or unrealistic idea.

I'm not jumping on that Megazord because ugly. Lol.

I think that you have to bend his hip to get his legs to peg them in to lock throws some people as to how it is "supposed" to work.
It is really hard to get across in Videos too and some people seem to miss it completely.
I'm certainly having to pop appart and clear nail polish a lot more toys ball cups & Mushroom Pags recently. in the past I almost never had to to that with Mushroom pegs at all it was usually just hips and shoulders where as there are toys made in 2016 that I've had into a pile of parts so it ends up like a reverse model kit.
Those sickers wouldn't be as bad if they were not using such poor glue were not placed on raised surface instead of in pre-cut gaps and were semi-gloss or mat instead of being a mirror chrome. That said it's especially vexing when in the same toyline they use Tampographs to emulate the shape and appearance of original G1 toys stickers so well (on Twinferno for example).
Nothing structurally – I was just suggesting that if a 3rd party Dino does well they might want to do a Stinger – same idea with the upgraded overscale Movie Bee that is also coming out. If someone was going to make a stinger based on a pre-existing toy then Bee would be the starting point I would guess due to them sharing a robot mode for the most part and the main changes being in the vehicle shell parts.

Funny thing is I actually would be tempted except that I absolutely hate the size of leaders from last time around. They're too small to go with anything else. I ended up with upscaled KO's of both. If this gets upscaled I might even bite (especially if they add chrome to the smoke stacks). Probably not though, especially if Prime gets a new and improved leader class (which seems likely).

No problem man, glad to help.
I'm sure being an exclusive will alleviate some of the issues people are having with this "repaint" considering it's a previously used mold. Being for a specific market means it's just a bonus and based on the posts, not a bonus that most of us are thrilled about anyway.
harrismonkey
That would do it. It's front page news getting multiple stories and lots of pictures- if we have to watch a video to find this out I bet a lot of people missed this. Especially since he's a repaint of a toy most of us already have, so we have a pretty good idea of the toy's shape, size and general look (the main reason I often watch videos is to see what the pictures aren't conveying).
Thank you.
On the plus side as an Asia exclusive the paint actually may look that way on the released toy. I was wary that it would simplified down to just black or grey airbrush blotches like the forest battle damaged ROTF Prime.
Kevin Iaquinto
My target had this label too. Hope we see stuff soon

70's BB badly needs an update. 60's BB does as well. I think those are actually my two favorite on screen versions of BB.
Other than being red, what do Stinger and Dino have in common?
MnemonicSyntax
In the video the tag label for SS Optimus says "Asia Exclusive."
harrismonkey
Where did you see that? You may be correct and it may be somewhere in the news post, but I certainly missed that and I'm probably not the only one.

I think it's unlikely at this point Hasbro would License the alt mode for Stinger again – unless there is some future cross over for a Stunticon that enable them to make sense doing it too. Or unless Takara/tomy has some deal they can use due to the Tomica line that would enable them to do it alone.
But I guess a new Stinger is a lot more probable than a Human alliance Topspin is. But someone is working on a 3rd party Dino at the moment so if that does well a reshelled Stinger is a logical follow on move.
I'd like to see them "Celebrate" Transformers 2007 and the way I really want that done would be with a 1970's Bumblebee with Modern engineering.
If they carry on making Bee MP toys i'm fine with that i'd be happy to see the Black 1960's body design in MP style too.
I'm sure an MP Ratchet would be very well recieved too.
Lazerwave
If I remember last line, wave one was released in Canada almost 2 months early. Hope to see that again. I'm just obsessed about getting Voyager Optimus first.
Ellamin
In that case, time to try out the new plastic heroin of third party.
MnemonicSyntax
They didn't pass it off as new.
Also, something that everyone seems to be forgetting is that Shadow Spark Optimus is an exclusive to Asian countries. It won't see a world-wide release.
Cykill 1
Looks like the dealers are uping the price on our plastic crack.
artiepants
ah, that's good to know! there was no context on the FB post and i missed it on here.
