Hasbro Pulse has published some additional info on Transformers Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee. We’ve already heard majority of the info on the official description. But it’s worth noting down.
“So…when exactly CAN we get it? And what will it cost me?
Short answer: Soon! Longer answer: The Masterpiece Bumblebee figure was created for ages 8 and up, and is slated for release in summer 2017. It has an MSRP of $79.99.
Is this modeled after the TF 5 Bumblebee, an earlier incarnation, or something different all together?
This Masterpiece Bumblebee figure is based on the first Transformers live action movie using some die-cast parts to commemorate the film’s 10th anniversary . .
Timeout. Does it convert?
Does it ever! Much like in the first Transformers live action movie, Bumblebee converts from his dynamic, Autobot scout form into a 2006 Chevy Camaro concept car. The figure also has a whopping 33 points of articulation, making it a collectable, and versatile figure. The design premise allows fans to articulate the figure into all sorts of movie-accurate poses!

Completely unnecessary…
Yes, but they are not the only good figures out there…
With all due respect sir, but you are starting to look like a typical GEEWUNNER…

I wish we had an Ultra like button.

3 things to know about mp bee.
What I wanna know is "will the stores in my area actually bother to fucking stock it" or do I have to order it online

I honestly dislike IDW and NuRiD, and don't care for any 3P stuff. Scrolling passed news about them is a LOT easier than whining about their existence and irritating fellow fans.
As for this figure, I think I'll pick it up only if they make a Barricade. Bumblebee isn't bad, but I feel I'd need his adversary to justify owning another one.

Lol G1 has good stories. That's a good one.

Elitists like you are the main reason why other people see the TFans looks like man childs who are all day complaining about one thing that they don't like, and instead leaving, puts their whole life hating it.
IronMagnus
That's probably because those are good figures/stories.

It's kind of funny… I don't see movie fans bothered by threads about MPs or IDW G1….

No don't worry about it, it's not that big of a deal.

I could probably edit in your post into mine if you'd like. My post is the 5th in this thread. That way it'd get noticed more.

This thing is amazing! I hope they make some Movie MP Decepticons; Shockwave could really use one, not that I don\'t like the voyager of course!

I doubt many will read it now since it's such a late post but one other thing I noticed was the bumper dents are also present on the SS model.
w1n1fred
that was awesome. I will have to spend a bit more time on it but I thank you very much for the time you took. on thing I do notice is that it does indeed look more like the 2010 model due to the lack of air intake at the front of the hood and the mirrors which resemble more the 2010 model.

I'll probably regret posting this but I'll try and help out with what I know about the different versions of Camaro's.
Okay here is a photo of the new MPM-3 that is getting released so I'll point out what I notice and then I will post pictures of the actual Camaro cars and point out what I'm talking about.
First thing I notice about the toy is the bottom of the front fascia is squared off like the standard 2010 SS model of the Camaro plus on the sides of the front fascia is styling that resembles a bumper the difference is the stock V6 Camaro comes to a point and the whole bumper is smooth.
Next the head lights look like they have halo's in them that is standard with the RS package.
Also the striping seems to come all the way down onto the front fascia where the standard striping on a Camaro ends at the hood. Plus I'm also noticing the standard SS air intake styling slot is missing making the front fascia different.
Finally the roof ditches (groves near the doors) are the same color as the rest of the car, I'm sure that is because of cost reasons but that is also part of the RS package.
Okay now a photo of the 2007 Concept Bumble Bee, this is probably closest to the market stock Camaro with the RS package with some minor changes.
The changes I see are the rear view mirrors and side blinkers are more squash than what's available at market and I'm sure this is more of a visual thing for the big screen. Now the front fascia is the stock edition with the stripes all the way down and the air intake cut into it and the running lights have silver bezels instead of black.
Here is a stock 2010 V6 Camaro with no RS package on it, notice no halos, badge in the grill and the roof ditches are black.
Now a stock 2010 V6 with the RS package on it, halos, RS badge, and roof ditching is yellow to match the car. The last arrow is pointing out that it doesn't have the air intake slot.
Okay now onto the V8 1SS model, here a photo of 2010 SS Camaro without the RS package. Like the standard V6 model it doesn't have halos and the roof ditches are black but it does have the air intake groove cut into the front fascia. One last thing notice how the SS badge is white, if this had the RS package on it the SS badge would be red.
Finally here is a 2010 2SS/RS model which is probably the closest to the new toy minus the stripes ending at the hood and the air intake in the front fascia. However after that is all said and done it's really just a mass up of a bunch of different Camaro model much like how the first concept was back in 2007. Plus you can really see the bumper styling that is present in the new toy.
The Camaro in the ROTF was also a concept and the front fascia was customized for the movie. It looks like a stock V6 front fascia with an after market splitter, and I've seen kits that help will help you create the running light indents.
Chevrolet did release a ZL1 Camaro is 2013 that has a front fascia looks similar to the ROTF Camaro but if you really look at it, it's completely different.

Diecast parts, individually articulated fingers, hand can swap out for cannon (apparently), secondary door wings (smaller bottom set), more accurate sculpt etc etc
robh
clearly… since that's said in the original post. So I'll say again, how is it going to differ. If the answer is "we're not sure" then that's fine.
Fenrys
Well for starters it's a new mold
robh
How is this going to differ from the original MPM02?

I am still waiting for people to point out exactly why this MP isnt the 06 concept Camaro. It sure looks like it and even Hasbro says it is, so why wouldn't it be?
