We have another news from Hasbro Studios today. The company has signed an agreement with Playster Platform to bring media content to mobile devices.
The agreement includes the Transformers animated series, Kaijudo, Clue and a variety of G.I. Joe titles. “Making Playster a family-friendly platform that offers great content for every single member of the family has always been one of our top priorities,” said Philip Keezer, the CEO of Playster. “Working with Hasbro Studios will help ensure that our library is suitable for even the youngest entertainment buffs.”
Canada based Playster is set to launch in US very soon and even offers a free Tablet and a Headphone to their subscribers:
“Playster, the all-inclusive, global media and entertainment platform, announced today the U.S. launch of its unlimited platform of content across all forms of entertainment, including books, audio books, video games, music, movies and TV shows. Playster will offer a free tablet and premium headphones for all who subscribe for one year to the unlimited entertainment platform, the first subscriber on-demand platform to do so.”

I looked into the music they have on Playster. They have nothing I listen to. The games also don't look interesting and aren't much.

Playster got back to me:
I don\'t think this company is really that great, to be honest, at least from a technical ability standpoint. If they can\'t make apps that work, then I can\'t be bothered to spend money.
Hasbro seem clueless when it comes to digital entertainment. No HULU or Netflix presence, failed tv channel/ production company, AWFUL mobile, ahem, \"games\", no apps to speak of, and a desire to host their content on platforms NOONE wants or can access.

Never heard of Playster. They'd be better off offering their stuff on Google Playstore and Netflix.
I mean, it's not like there is a place for multiple streaming services. I guess most people will use tops 2 or 3 streaming services. I for one use only one and that is Netflix. I don't intend to change that ever. Netflix is also the reason why I cancelled my cable. No regular TV for me anymore.
Netflix exclusive Transformers show would be awesome in cooperation with IDW.

Homie don't Playster
TCJJ
I don't really need to say it because all the arguments have already been made about Netflix et al, so let me just say: what the fuck is a Playster?
Magneon Sentinel
What even is Playster!? Why this and not hulu?!
SouthtownKid
Hasbro: NOBODY CARES about "Playster", "Go90", or the Hub or whatever other BS you want to invent or jump on board with. They DO care about Netflix. Every single person cares about that. Why don't you try to fix that mistake, you idiots?
Somebody in Hasbro's media division must be accepting payola or something to keep making these kind of sweet deals with fake media outlets like Go90. And now this Playster thing no one has ever heard of.
I mean, if not Netflix for some arcane reason, at least Hulu or Amazon Prime or something. "Playster"…?! That's really what you're going with now?

It seems like Hasbro is taking every step they can to make sure nobody is going to watch their TV shows. Come on Hasbro, look what Netflix did for Voltron and Trollhunters, just admit that whoever is in charge of your current television media division is an ass and let Netflix come in and make it all better.

Looks like Hasbro pulled all their content from TubiTv

Why is Hasbro avoiding Netflix?
primalxconvoy
Just checked the app at Google Play, and it's not compatible with my Galaxy Note 2. I could understand why games or "high end" apps might not work, but EVERY media streaming app and media shopping app has worked so far on my phone. Why is this two-bit, unheard-of company's app "unavailable for my device"?
If it's due to Geo-blocking, then:

To which I will sigh, roll my eyes at their ineptitude, and go back to HULU, iPlayer, YouTube and unofficial third party "media accessibility" options.
vehiconjunkie
Is this why they pulled G1 Transformers from Discovery Family?
YoungPrime
Meh, if G1 was on Netfilx or Amazon Prime I'd be all for it.
Glad I have Sunbow TF on dvd/blu-ray regardless. Don't really care about those other incarnations anyway.
