Thanks to weibo user Samuel1230, we have our first look at a fully colored prototype of Fans Toys’s largest project to date, Terminus Giganticus! For those who may have missed it, Terminus Giganticus is Fans Toys’s take on a Masterpiece style and scale Omega Supreme and will be coming out hopefully some time next year in two parts. Next to Terminus are Fans Toys Quakewave, Phoenix, and their Insecticons to get an idea of how massive this brute will be.
Update: Fans Toys have posted official images of Terminus Giganticus in full color and we’ve updated the post with said pics. Check ’em out after the jump!
Parts A and B of Fans Toys FT-20 Terminus Giganticus are available for pre-order via our sponsors (part A is $270 and part B is $200) and are slated for release in June and August of 2017 respectively.

They have the mold so they can produce it again. I imagine it comes down to the question of do they think they can sell a min amount of units and profit?
I'm always excited to see 2.0 of any figure. But I'd rather they focus on finishing their combiners, blitzwing, Magnus, Optimus, and give me a rodimus!
DinobotSludge
I wonder if FT will ever reissue this figure, or put out a 2.0 Omega.

My pleasure to help buddy! Glad the surgery is underway!

When I first started reading about these hips I considered buying DX9 Gabriel. Awesome figure. The problem would have been where do I keep 2x omegas! So was lucky enough to be able to source replacement hip parts for this very day.
couldn't have prepared to break that other little part but luckily I have a 3D printer.
My gut tells me that the hips (plastic) lose strength over time, perhaps some stress due to movement and weight as well… I think it's less some have good copies and some don't. Scary that if I'm right… this will just happen again at some point in the future.
I'll be posting a separate step by step how to for those who have to do this. Luckily I found a few posts from junkbot. Thanks buddy!!! Which helped but was not easy to find in this thread.
surgery continues.. come on printer let's go

that really sucks. but good thing you planned ahead just incase things went south.
but everyone here knows that FT Terminus can only be reposed these days in the zero gravity of space. that's why SpaceX has that deal with FT where your ship them your Terminus with your desired new pose. then they fly him into space and adjust the legs and freeze him in liquid nitrogen and mail it back to you.

Damn bro. Sorry to hear. Hope the surgery goes well.

Uh oh
Happened to me today. It's usually posed and behind glass. Today I figured I'd change things up a little and crack. Hip came right off!

I should offer that I knew the hips were a problem from the forums so luckily I had a spare set. When I was reposing him it was laid flat on some pillows but didn't make a difference.
So now begins the hip surgery.

I would say a bad run for this one. I move mine with care and no issues. Sorry to hear.

Selling if anyone interested.

Could write Fans Toys and ask for a spare set of hips if you're worried about possible breakages. Assuming they still have some that is.
Detroa
I've not seen the damage by myself but you're probably right about this.
Colton
I've had mine posed for years but I do take him out and transformers him from time to time. I broke a hip when I first got mine but since then have been very careful to support his weight while moving him. No further issues. And I broke my hip joint the first day I had him. Since then I've transformed and posed mine a bunch of times with no problem.
magmatron
At this point the damage is already done, you can't really tell whether or not there were already stress marks or cacks.
djmajin
That worries me, I havent changed the pose in a long while
Roadbuster25
That sounds unusual but not impossible. Anything can break over time if structurally not sound. Maybe his copy had a cracked or weak joint to begin with. Can you check figures hip?
Detroa
A friend of mine told me that his copy broke at one of the hip joint last night while the figure was just standing straight (he hasn't changed its pose in years).
I know the hips on this guy are fragile but is it usual to have them break without even touching them? I thought that being careful while moving these joints would be enough to prevent any breakage but now I'm worried about my copy.
