Good news for those waiting on new figures from the Titan Returns in the United Kingdom. We have a report from user Roanstalker that the newest wave of Titans Return Voyager was found at a Tollgate Smyths store. This wave consists of triple changer Optimus Prime and Megatron, and both were seen in this sighting. Happy toy hunting TFW!

Possible. But then it's not stopped those stores from still stocking RID.

I refer the honourable member to several previous cases of The Entertainer putting stuff up as "coming soon" and never getting it in, notably all the CW Wave 2 toys in Legends, Deluxe & Voyager sizes.
See also: Smyths.

What's more likely is that all the people around you decided not to purchase from those stores often enough so they cut their losses and stopped stocking Transformers.
Roanstalker
Huh. Their site says Wave 1 and 2 Voyagers are coming soon yet they get Optimus and Megatron in already? Figures.

Voyager wave 3 now in The Entertainer:
United Kingdom Transformers Sightings
Since they've been seen in The Entertainer, Smyths and TRU it makes them the most widely distributed TR Voyager wave so far….
Gingerchris
Great. Now explain why none of the stores around here have seen TR Headmasters. Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's, Argos, all the other shops that usually stock TF – not a single sniff of TR Headmasters apart from a rare aberration of one PM Optimus and Blaster in TK Maxx (and we all know how unreliable their stocking methods are). If I want to stand a vague chance of seeing a Headmaster I've got to drive twenty miles out to my nearest TRU.
Did all the stores around me just get together and decide to skip the line?
It's frustrating. It shouldn't be this hard to find figures. Yes, I could order online, but why should I have to? This line is supposed to be released to brick and mortar stores and yet they're simply not showing up for me without making a dedicated trip twenty miles out. I don't live in the wastelands and yet when it comes to TR it certainly feels like it.

Again, that's stores picking price points they think work with their business model.
Hasbro would totally love if all stores ordered all price points. But for one reason or another, certain stores think that Titan Masters are the way to go while others bank heavily on Leader Class. It's got nothing to do with a Hasbro mandate or anything.
Roanstalker
Ah ok. But what I meant is why it seems aside from maybe TRU why none of the stores have all the size classes. No Titan Master and Legends class at Smyths. No Voyager Class at Entertainer. Etc. Wasn't really meant to be a rant. Just confusion.

For god's sake. Hasbro isn't "picking certain stores".
Certain stores are picking which product they carry. If Smyths it out of Voyagers, they might order them. If wave 3 Voyagers happen to be shipping at the time Smyths orders are being filled, that's what they get.
This is how distribution works.
There's no "TRU gets Rodimus but The Entertainer gets Triggerhappy" conspiracy at work here.
Roanstalker
I've had beef with Hasbro UK's distribution ever since AOE with the Deluxes and Voyagers being TRU exclusive (No TRUs near me). With Combiner Wars I thought it was getting better but now it seems they're picking certain stores to hold certain products its baffling.

We don't have a Smyths here in Swindon, I used a trip away on holiday buy Soundwave in Bristol.
Dividing my time between Swindon, where I live, and Kingston Upon Thames, where my Mother lives I've seen personally:
Titanmasters wave 1 & 2: Asda (Swindon Orbital, West Swindon & Roehampton Vale), TRU, Bentalls (Kingston department store)
Legends wave 1: Asda, Tru, Tescos, Bentalls (£10 too). I've not seen Wave 2.
Deluxe wave 1 & 2: Asda (Swindon Orbital only), Tru, Bentalls, Entertainer. Not seen Wave 3 at retail.
Voyagers: Not personally seen any wave, though it possible the Bristol Smyths had some.
Leaders Wave 1: TRU, Bentalls, Smyths. As I said above Smyths is the only place I've seen Soundwave.
I long ago gave up trusting Hasbro UK to distribute and have imported nearly everything since Beast Machines! Now I'm less mobile than I was it makes even more sense to go online
Roanstalker
I have two Tescos nearish to me. one has RiD Legends and 3 step/one step changers. The other has RiD Warriors and Wave 1 TR Legends. Not seen Voyagers or deluxes at either .

Somebody posted that the Voyagers had been seen in Tescos but I've got some pretty hefty Tesco Extras I can get to and they have sod-all in stock either. I've got three Asdas I rotate through over a two week pattern and they have had nothing more current than the leavings of the CW Combaticons for months now – no Titan Masters.
It's not exactly as if delivery Trucks would be unable to find London………
Roanstalker
I have to agree. If i didnt have a smyths near the town (still not exactly close) I'd have no way of getting the voyagers outside of online. Mainly because entertainer not bringing them in (despite being on their website…). Titan master sets are supposed to be at Asdas but every time i go i dont see anything but rid three step changers. For some reason smyths arent bringing them in either.

Was beginning to think it was just me. I've been banging on about this since September and I still have yet to see a TR Voyager at normal retail – it's just the arse-end of Combiner Wars in the Southern Metropolis. The one balls-achey road trip I took to find a Smyths (Somewhere bleak in Charlton) yielded no reward and I haven't bothered to repeat that soul-crusher since.
Even when we've had the Wave Three Deluxes for more than a couple of weeks (which on balance I would rather have and am certainly grateful for) and it was only last week that I actually saw Titan Masters outside of Orbital.
Distribution is beyond fathoming. And it has to be costing Hasbro UK sales in the medium to long run because apart from Galvatron I'm not paying Online prices for the things, I'll do without.
Roanstalker
Thats not unique to the us. Smyths is a big toy store so they have a whole shelf to transformers but in other places they have small shelf presence. Ive been to some stores where all they have are rid 3 step changers and legends. Not to mention that in my town i have NEVER seen the titan master packs
MastaBlasta
Why do other countries have entire areas devoted to TFs but in the use, theirs only 3 rows with 4 in each, and 2 of the 3 rows being RID toys. And half the time the shelves are empty.

I got Kickback under the tree waiting for Christmas morning.
Roanstalker
I'm waiting for Kickback to hit stores.

Exactly what I am waiting for as well. Just so I can scoop as many Sharkticons as possible into a basket.
