My goal in 2017 is for us to return to the forefront of the porcelain throne of the Zune marketplace.

Thanks! Yeah, Cassy Sark has done some amazing toys over the last few years. From the big and well known like Feral Rex and Carnifex to smaller stuff like Gauntlet / Piston, which we originally worked on for Mach 5 before Mech iDeas came in to save the day. Not sure why no-one has asked him to do LSOTW Guzzle yet?!? Cassy is always happy to take on the more obscure characters.
Having the chance to do our own thing? It's amazing.
God, I love Brave. Always happy to discuss it.
Is there a market for 3P Brave? Honestly, probably not. Cassy sort of stealth solicited Sencho Barbossa through the KFC EAVI Metal line with the promise of a large repaint potential (I think 3 of the 8 or 9 proposed designs made it to market), and he also designed Shadow Maru ready to go when he took on the Hexatron project for MMC (I think that was his first MMC project too), but so far MMC haven't released it. Shame, because they've released that mold 6 times now, but still no Brave love.
Thanks for all the kind words people, the campaign is doing really well! Just 7% to go. Join in on the chat on the 3P discussion forum.

Great interview! I've liked the look of this project since day 1 and was happy to pledge!
I also loved the little talk about the Brave series. Amazing toys which don't get enough love!

So on the subject of Unliscensed Transforming Robot toys and Brave saga is there a market for 3p Brave stuff? I\'d love to have a Goldran or J-Decker with modern articulation. I\'ve been on a bit of a Brave kick with my digibashes lately and I\'m kinda running out of Brave dudes that actualy work as Transformers repaints

I liked this. I hope Sid can come back after the kick starter and talk about brave. I look at the brave thread but that channels toward current figures that are similar.

This was really interesting to listen to. I am heartened that there are creators and fans out there who want to see original transforming toys and IP, because I think that's where the creativity of all these toy designers can best be expressed.
I've been a fan of the MMC Reformatted line because of the emphasis on mainly lesser-known characters and the "Classics" approach, which allowed for the designers to have their own takes and the freedom to produce something new and cool. Though over time, with a couple of the more IDW-faithful figures popping up, I have found it somewhere unfortunate that now there's an expectation from some in the community that Reformatted figures should hew closely to IDW designs. This has brought in a level of nitpicking in public feedback that was formerly just the domain of "Masterpiece" toys. I wish the rubric were more about whether something looks cool versus how well it looks like something someone drew.
Anyway, point is that I'd always hoped to see the Reformatted line push out of the TF homage box and start to do original things, and I'm glad that some of the creatives from that endeavor have ventured out to do that on their own. Best of luck to Mayhem Mekanics on the campaign!

Huh…I hadn\'t noticed until the TFCON Chicago Podcast Panel that the Zune Users had changed to Zune user! Went back and Ep. 300 is the last time it was users…and Ep. 301 marked the sole user tag. What led them to unsubscribe? A hatred of FFX/X-2? Chrome? Transformers Potato Head?
Also…Thanks for the post-kickstarter funding/purchasing questions (as I am unable to back at the time).
